Room was immaculate, bed was very comfy (Mrs’s wanted to steal the mattress). Breakfast was really good (restaurant was closed down but a list of takeaways was available). Hotel was very easy to find and good sized carpark. Only annoying thing was the one small radiator that you had to keep manually putting temperature up and didn’t seem to go on in the mornings.

Paid only £49 for room and £10.99 for two adult meal, kids eat free will paid adult meal. For family of 5, price for breakfast was £22 round up . For price wasn't expecting too much. There surprise how size of rooms and cleaniliness. That it had a lot of free parking and location was OK. Close to good size Tesco and petrol station. Staff was willing to give free milk and heat it up for my baby son, much appreciated for this. If visit Newcastle again would 100% consider this Premier inn.

2 planes and 3 trains later we arrived to a friendly welcome a warm and very clean room and possibly the greatest shower in England. The bed is firm but still soft and the room is spacious. The bathroom was clean and again, that shower was glorious. Only stayed one night this time and didn't try the food but it looks very nice and the dining room etc was cute, clean and very pleasant. Will come back here for a few nights in the summer. Lovely. Thanks to the man and women on the check-in for being lovely and helpful.

Amazing staff at the reception in particular Valerie and Helen that were super accomadating in the buffet restarant. We arrived as a party of 13 and nothing was trouble to both of them. They worked great as a team and felt very well looked after. All my family said mentioned the fact that they were both super lovely ladies and why couldn't all hotel staff be as nice as them. There was also an extremely pleasant chap on reception who allowed us to check in early and allow us to drop off our bags as we had a family party. This allowed us to freshen up and get changed. Little things like this go a long way and we were super impressed with his attitude and proffesionalsm. Thanks for a lovely stay and please praise these wonderful members of staff Premiere Inn Management. You don't get much better staff than the team you have in South Shields :)

Lovely, quiet and clean hotel with exceptional staff. Particular shout out to Debbie for her hospitality. Breakfast was great and everything reasonably priced. Comfortable beds. Would happily stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic warm welcome which continued throughout our one night stay. We were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist on the Saturday afternoon. She booked us in and gave advice on where the nearest eating places were. Our room was clean, large and just what we wanted and even though on a main road the traffic couldn't be heard. The evening receptionist Debbie was very helpful too as I thought my bath didn't have a plug so she sourced me a new one (I hadn't realised the plug was there and sat inside the overflow, doh!). The night porter was friendly too. Breakfast on Sunday was probably one of the best I have eaten in any hotel and we loved the decor and upholstered furnishings. There were 5 of us in our group and we all opted for full cooked breakfasts and the choice was great＞ The chef was lovely and helpful and certainly know hoe to cook well presented tasy food and the young lady who showed us to a table and offered us porridge, a choice of how we wanted our eggs cooked etc was so pleasant and even hummed to herself while cleaning up, always a sign of a happy employee. I will definitely return and would recommend this Premier Inn to anyone visiting the area. We have certainly seen first hand true Northern friendliness.

Upgrade was needed and has now been done . Very clean, very comfortable bed Still could do with a evening restaurant, but not essential. Breakfast room is very good , staff are brilliant best premier inn breakfast I have ever had . Every member of staff made me feel welcome can't fault any of them

We planned a surprise family party for our 2 sons and booked 3 rooms for the night. My wife and I stayed at a relatives house but joined them all for breakfast in the morning. From the moment we arrived to our departure we couldn’t have had better service! The staff here at this Premier Inn were the friendliest and most helpful we have EVER experienced in all our years of travelling. Everyone went above and beyond what was expected of them especially Valene and Helen but also the reception staff (I apologise for forgetting your names). My family and I will definitely stay here next time we are visiting (even if it means turning down my own families offer of staying with them😉). Thank you all.
