The hotel is located in a convenient location where we can easily commute around the city centre and the Bicester village. Sadia was really nice and helpful. She greeted us with a warm welcome. Rooms were quite small but they are clean and tidy. Overall, it was a great time staying at the hotel.

Quiet, clean, good price. Could possibly do with a refurb but everything works well. Bed was comfy but squeaky. Great value for money, great for exploring Oxford and just somewhere to sleep. Lots of shops nearby. Would be an hour walk to the centre of Oxford but we just got a taxi which was £11. There was also a bus.

Amazing staff and location. Made wedding day of my niece the best day. Every thing ran smoothly and Betina helped with all the arrangements from the beginning. We booked approx 20 rooms and most have been refurbished and are very clean and comfy. Breakfast was included and was really nice. The wedding breakfast was amazing. Room #904. Parking was provided (limited availability, but no problem if you check in early). Nice room, but noisy bunch of young people partying below us that evening and night, but I appreciate that can't be helped while the May VIII's are racing on the river (Bumps). We had some friends join us for supper in ”Keepers' restaurant and bar and were repeatedly hurried by the waitress to get our order in before 8:40pm ”because 9pm is when the chef goes home”. Well it didn't need a 'chef' truly, but the food was acceptable and reasonably priced at £120 for 4 including drinks. No chance of pud though, unless you had ordered it before the watershed. We had bought our own birthday cake, so we had that instead. I can't think of any other European countries where this would happen... We asked if we could leave our car in situ for a few hours after we checked out the following morning and we were accommodated with grace, which was very kind. A well-situated establishment, we paid £150 for the night for a double room in the new block.

The first person we fell in love is the manager Daniel Kiss. even we have never got a chance to meet him in person. Very pleasant and helpful with booking our stay. Always replied our email promptly. The second person is his colleague. It’s a shame we never got his name. Very helpful and friendly upon check in. Love smiling ☺️. Helped us retrieve key and open the door to our hotel. The room is very big and clean. It has everything you need inside the room. Even microwave. Plates and utensils. Bathroom is very clean. We stayed at the main floor. Not noisy even our room is facing main road. There’s a bus stop just right in front of the hotel. My husband and I enjoy walking. So We walked all the way to the city center and basically walk as far as our legs can take us. We will definitely go back again and highly recommended. Shame I don’t have any photos of the hotel.

Booked this hotel as it was close to a venue we were going to. Free parking Easy check in Clean room - bedding and clean towels Lots of complimentary tea/coffee/water One negative is that the room was very tired. The curtains were ripped leaving a clear view into the garden (which was really nice)! we had to close the big heavy curtains for privacy. The bathroom needed a refresh and a decent mirror & lighting. The staff were brilliant and arranged a taxi for us to get to our venue. Rees was superb later in the evening, ensuring we were updated on the taxi. Good little hotel, would recommend.

We booked a single night's stay at this hotel to visit family in Maidenhead. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a wonderful setting on the river. We were all made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, Ashley on reception was friendly and made us feel at home. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but this was enjoyed by all, including my fussy children. We will stay again on our next family visit.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at The George. Lovely dinner - good range on the menu including lots of alcohol free drink options. The bed was really comfortable and it was a lovely cozy room with great amenities. Lovely location - Dorchester is beautiful! We loved the community farm just up the road with a lovely cafe and alpacas among others. Lovely countryside surrounding Dorchester and lovely cycle route to Oxford on the NCR5. Thanks George Hotel for a lovely stay!

Firstly, I booked this Travelodge due to the convenience of free parking and the ‘new design’ of the hotel - described on the website as ‘Our Oxford Wheatley hotel has been extensively refurbished with all areas of the hotel modernised, including bedrooms and shower rooms’. We were very disappointed upon entering our room to see that it was not the ‘new design’ and had clearly not been renovated in years. The bathroom was a disgrace and extremely unhygienic. There were stains all over the hand soap (which was empty), the toilet roll holder (which had half a roll left and no spares), the water was freezing and took over 10 mins to warm up in the shower and tap, and no bath mat to prevent us from slipping. The USB socket next to the side of the bed did not work - we were in room 203. We mentioned these issues to staff on reception during the evening who stated the hotel was full and we wouldn’t be able to move rooms but to make a complaint online to the customer service team. We could clearly tell this was not the first time the staff had dealt with this by advising to make the complaint online about the standards of the hotel. Never again! Pay extra for a premier inn!

My 10 year old son and I love this hotel, as it’s a fabulous location just off the M40 on the way back from days out in London when we can’t face the whole journey in one go! The staff are fabulous and went above and beyond at Christmas 2022, facilitating my son’s elf to appear at breakfast-priceless!☺️ The rooms are huge and immaculate, the breakfast is tasty and plentiful and the pool, sauna and steam room are perfect before starting back in the journey home. We’ve been twice and shall return.
