The breakfast was very good, the homemade oatmeal croissants were soft and fragrant, and I couldn't stop praising them. The accommodation environment was very quiet, I liked this one very much!

The Cherry Tree was my base while I undertook family research in the surrounding villages. Gosia and her staff were welcoming and professional. The room was a good size, clean, serviced well and uniquely decorated. The breakfasts and cafe food selection was tasty and ample serves - great coffee. I chose well staying here.

Our booking was very professionally handled and we were contacted a couple of times to ensure our needs were met. Our room (Zebra) was beautifully decorated and well appointed with toiletries, luxury towels, and tea/coffee/biscuits etc. We enjoyed a great breakfast with a wide variety of cereals, juices, croissants and cooked options. We will definitely stay again.

Called in for lunch, v comfortable seating area, limited but interesting menu, we ate local sausage sandwiches and toasted ham, cheese and chilli jam sandwich, all v tasty and at a reasonable price. Many thanks, we would recommend and revisit.

I stayed for 2 nights whilst working locally. Check in was simple, with easy to follow instructions texted as I was arriving after 3pm. I stayed in a twin room on the ground floor. It was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my time there. Gosia was a fabulous host, ensuring that I felt well looked after. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and a great selection. I will absolutely stay again.

Lovely night after a long day walking the ridgeway. Keycards all waiting for us in safes. Room had everything needed especially nice hot showers. Breakfast was delicious. I left my pillow there (bah) and the owner very kindly retrieved and left for me to pick up later. So kind - thank you.

Excellent, airy room with superb super king bed and great linens - a perfect night’s sleep. Great ‘in room’ coffee and tea options. Breakfast was better than most 5* hotels - the very best smoked salmon with fried egg on toast, I have had for a long time. Superb coffee and delicious croissant. An absolute gem! My only very tiniest quibble, as someone who has just had recent surgery, I would have felt more secure with a non slip mat on the shower floor but that’s more my problem than the proprietor’s - I should have requested one and I’m sure it would have been forthcoming.
