Fallen Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast

Very nice place. We were in the Graham Room with the balcony, which over looks the entrance path and side yard. Very pleasant. Breakfast was good (standard fruit, eggs, bacon, pancakes). Quiet and comfy. We'd go back.

The room was cozy and lovely. The fireplace was an extra plus. The hostess was very sweet and we had a delicious strawberry French toast breakfast, with bacon and poached pears while sitting out in the lovely sunroom where we could enjoy the view.

We were looking for a b&b that could offer us a relaxing one night respite. The Fallen Tree Farm was perfect. It offered us a wonderful secluded getaway. The room on the second floor (named “Graham’s Retreat” ) includes a private balcony overlooking woods teaming with birds and wildlife. We truly appreciated Kim and Brent’s hospitality. We think it would be a great and convenient place for us to reconnect with friends and family. We’ll be back :)

We stayed at this quiet, lovely reprieve just south of Carlisle, for two nights. The innkeeper and host (Kim) was so gracious, and provided outstanding breakfasts. The farmhouse (circa 1797) has been lovingingly cared for. Our room (Graham’s Retreat) was upstairs. Very cozy, and quiet. Weather was unfortunately suboptimal to take advantage of the outdoor balcony or pretty gardens. A refreshing alternative to the typical college town hotel experience.

Staying here felt like staying with family. The house is beautiful, and it’s obvious that a lot of love and care goes into running the property. The bed was comfortable and, despite it being an older home, it stayed nice and warm all night. The grounds are beautiful this time of year with all the leaves changing. The owner said there was a wedding coming in after we checked out and I can 10000% see the appeal of having a fall wedding there. Absolutely beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and fresh. Again, clearly a lot of love and time was put into every aspect of the experience. And the dogs and cats on the property were super friendly and adorable. We very much felt welcomed by the staff and look forward to staying again sometime soon.

Where do I even begin? The property is beautiful and has the look and feel that I always imagined when getting married. Outdoorsy and real and comforting. Kim was amazing from day one and took care of everything. We sat with her and explained what we wanted and I shared my Pinterest for color and bouquet ideas, she took it from there. The officiant was also amazing, she sat with us and got to know us and helped customize the ceremony perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious and the cake and cupcakes are on a level you’ve never had before I can promise that. I don’t know how Kim did it but she created my bouquet directly from my mind. She pulled inspiration from my Pinterest and got it perfect! Everyone was so nice and helpful and caring it made my nerves more manageable for sure. Also, there are adorable kitties on the property and two dogs that we got to meet at the end of the night before going up to our room. The room was beautiful, the whole house is beautiful, the history behind it and all of the pictures and decor was just so perfect. It was refreshing walking out on our balcony in the morning and looking over the property before enjoying our delicious breakfast in bed. Kim and her skills and kindness and accommodations made our day more than I could’ve ever hoped for. We and our family had an amazing time and everyone loved everything and frequently commented how gorgeous everything was and how beautiful the property is. 1000% recommend.
