Tahoe Sands Inn

Room was ok for what we needed. Clean but dated. Good beds and TV. Spacious but with no closet. Towels were small and cheap and hair dryer was not working. Heating and cooling system also dated but worked ok...overall a good value for a ski trip.

The no AC room gets really hot in the afternoon and at early night during summer. You have to open the window and it takes a while to cool the room. I also noticed that the tap water gets brown at times. Overall this place gets the job done if you are only needing a place to sleep

Dirty sock next to bed, no ac. “Tahoe sands they leave the fan on for you” Fan in the middle of the room, pillows so big that my neck hurts. Looks like full timers are next store as there were no numbers on the door.

I hope to see all these issues to be addressed. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this hotel. Upon my late-night arrival, I was left waiting in the dark for someone to provide a key, despite the "OPEN" sign being illuminated. I later discovered a notice instructing guests to pick up keys from a different building. It appears the reception area is merely decorative and serves only to keep the "OPEN" sign lit. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find no coffee, drinking water, or boiled water available for guests. The rooms lacked essential amenities such as teapots, coffee makers, and closets with hangers. Additionally, the comforter in my room appeared to be over 20 years old. ECO Friendly? People were smoking openly on the parking lot and no recycle bins nor Bear Tough Trash Can were avaiable. I hope Tahoe Sands will consider these issues and take steps to improve the guest experience.

First time in Tahoe! It was a great room to stay in south Tahoe. I had to drive a little to get to the downtown area.

Tv didnt work half the time (spectrum kept going out) AC was extremely loud, had to check in at the hotel next door as I guess they do not staff this front desk. Was decent for what we needed, a place to sleep.
