The biggest highlight is that you can see the lake from the room.
The room is quite small, and there is a shuttle bus to the ski resort.

I booked this hotel for two nights with my husband. We were warmly welcomed with champagne, which was a nice touch—though I can’t recall the gentleman’s name, he was very kind.
Unfortunately, the rest of our stay didn’t quite live up to expectations. We paid for their most expensive room to get a lake view, but what we got was a view of someone else’s balcony—not even a glimpse of the water. Definitely not worth the price.
The hotel advertises a “free shuttle,” but what they don’t clearly tell you upfront is that you’ll be charged a $79.95 resort fee, which supposedly covers things like access to the pool and bikes—none of which were mentioned until we checked out
Also, be sure to explicitly tell them if you don’t have a car. We were charged $30 per day for parking without being asked.
Overall, the hospitality at check-in was lovely, but everything else felt overpriced and not transparent. Disappointing.

We arrived late and staff were so helpful. Parked our car and brought the luggage up to our room. The only miscommunication is we had asked for an extra bed in the room, when we checked in the person said it was there, but when we got into the room, it wasn’t. But that was taken care of shortly

Id recommend a third floor next time. We were very disappointed in the noise from the room above ours the last two days of our stay. Each and every step and move was amplified and this happened well into 2 am. The bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain, but not a big deal. Gas fireplace was hit or miss on its use. Overall, wonderful stay though. We will be back but will request a 3rd floor unit next time. Great people and service. This was our first trip to Tahoe.
