Just stayed here for 2 nights, rated 3 stars,it was 5 stars in some aspects and 1 star in others Good Nice building/ rooms, shower ok if you are 5ft 1 and 8 stone Chap working the evening, superb, real asset Nice easy dinner, home cooked , already prepared Good home cooked breakfast on the first morning Bad Stayed 2 nights, but had to pay my tab on leaving the 1st day of £60, I said I was back in the evening, was told it was management practice, nice to have my integrity question over £60 On the 2nd morning went for the Continent breakfast, never had nothing so bad in my whole life of staying in hotels Actually Frozen crumpets/pastries/cold coffee, couple bits of rolled up ham and some sealed packets of cheese Had to try to cook the from frozen, probably had 5% of the meal, dire I complained and was the told I had to pay, which I refused Definitely not customer first here in the mornings, Would I stay again, only if they clone the evening chap who was exception, great customer service and friendly

Due to Excellent location ,We booked partly on Excellent reviews,The Hotel is very imposing, and Attractive, There was good parking facilities covered by cctv for security. The Hotel inside is really nice and modern ,and the staff are really helpful ,we booked a Time slot for the swimming pool in advance ,which meant we had the pool completely to ourselves ,The pool was Excellent. Our room was a Suite, very comfortable lovely decor, and had all tea and coffee facilities, comfortable King size bed and large Television, Excellent shower etc ,with quality products .There are good bar facilities and evening meals ,We had breakfast booked cooked from fresh with locally sourced ingredients ,Top class Restaurant quality ,with lots of choice ,This is by far the best place we have stayed and can thoroughly recommend,I would recommend booking direct with the Hotel to obtain inclusive Breakfast and other facilities.

The hotel ground are terrible and the amount of ground water about made it look worse, the building works on the site look unfinished and have been like this for a while. Extra costs here also like pool and spa and facilities all extra to the cost, WiFi is crap, room was tidy but over looks an unfinished site. At night no one about so a potential security issue, also over priced and potentially a rip off regards to all the extra costs you don’t know about when booking. Restaurant uses frozen food and limited time slots as sounds like an episode of hotels from hell. Staircase to top floor is like ************* so make sure you are fit before attempting to climb it, very gloomy interior and was surprised at lake of work since I last visited several years ago. Room said upon booking had bath in actual fact only a shower available, will not be visiting again and would recommend to be avoided

Absolutely awful AVOID!! I came here with my family and as we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady at reception however! After paying for the room we found out that to use to the pool we had to pay an EXTRA £10 per adult for only 45 minutes and the jacuzzi which was not working was also extra money as well the spa and massages where rediculous prices and I can’t image what they where like having read other reviews. We then wanted to book dinner and found out there where limited time slots and a limited menu of about 3-4 items which half where not in stock as pre warning they are all frozen and then heated up like what in the gorden ramzy nightmares is this. There is unfinished work outside which makes the outside look tacky and for £90+ a night don’t see the point I could say in a barn for cheaper and it would be nicer. No staff about at all and after 10 in the evening the hotel is abandoned or staff major security issue ANOTHER thing is there was a broken light in the bathroom and the mirror light didn’t even turn on the lighting in the room is mid and the tv is so low down you get neck pain the bed themself are hard and uncomfortable the noise outside from the road is also ridiculous and makes it hard to sleep the shower was slightly dirty as well with a random towel shoved in the foot of the slide door also no soap provided in the shower so how am I supposed to wash. OVER ALL over priced and rediculous do not waste your money and time and book a premier inn. I would give it 0 stars but the one receptionist was good so 1 star

We stayed here for the third time on Saturday night 9th December. We booked a king room with balcony and views and it was superb as usual. A very large room, king size bed, plenty of heat from numerous radiators (if needed) and a very big ensuite toilet and shower. I decided to book direct rather than through *********** which was a wise choice because if you do, breakfast is included as is the use of the pool. Breakfast was quick, hit and very tasty

I am a senior private sector executive and part-time producer on the X factor. This place is amazing. The £10 pool policy really helps to keep out the riff-raff and those who just want to have a poo in the pool.

Brilliant suites we stayed in there was two couples, swimming pool & treatments available, highly recommend the continental & full English breakfast we ate an evening meal there as well the food was really good we had stayed prior to them doing evening meals and have to say a great addition. Rooms very clean and beds so comfortable and the staff were so polite and helpful. Would highly recommend to couples as well as families we did notice high chairs in dinning room although saw no children while there. Very close to springfields outlet shops. Will be returning again

Absolutely awful hotel!! Firstly the ridiculous check in…filling out a pointless form that takes forever when every other hotel has your details ready…Secondly £10 for a 45min “slot” to use the pool - *** is that??? Thirdly the food is microwaved rubbish…had sausage & mash which was crap! And only 3 choices of wine rose-white-red all of them the cheapest you could buy from the garage across the road Only good thing is the staff who were lovely Never again…avoid at all costs!!

A lot of negative reviews here... Im going to be completly honest. I think the majority of the reviews are correct, more could be done with this venue to make it a gold mine. Its a Beautiful converted house, very lovely on approach, great parking & the staff are absolutely lovely. Chloe in particular is very proffesional. I want to say i absolutely loved it, because the staff are so nice but i cant deny the room rate is over priced. Especially as its extra for the pool & other facilities, & food. Id love to see some soft lighting in bar area for a more relaxed feel.. Perhaps some cushions fresh flowers. I was disappointed that our tv was set very low, the chap did turn it up,Slighty but still we couldn't hear it. Reading previous reviews i can see that people have complained about noise issues within the building, however soundproofing the walls should be the owners priority for customers comfort, rather than putting a lock on the tv volume control. An initial financial outlay of course but much more beneficial to the guests for a relaxing & private stay, alas its the same with aircon,..... Whilst i was hugely grateful for the fans provided, aircon would be a more valuable assett, less noise =more comfort I really liked my stay here, & im questionimg the bad reviews...? I genuinely think its because this property is marketed too high. The expectations of the guests are extremely high when a lodging is advertised as a luxurious spa This place could add extras, sound proofing /aircon.. Elegant touches.... (tame away the chickens & artificial flowers) Or lower its price. Or upgrade. Its certainly got the scope for a beautiful boutique hotel And i will stay again 😘
