This was the perfect stay! The front desk workers were really helpful and friendly. Luis A. Was the main guy that took care of me and my guest. He was very helpful with extending my stay for an additional night.

Comfortable beds and pool was open (rare these days!) but staff need to pay closer attention to rooms and amenities - broken gym equipment, ripped towels, previous guests’ clothes overlooked and left in room, etc. Several different instances of negligence, which negatively impacted our stay.

Can meet the general residence, cost-effective.

We were at this hotel for one night. There was a power failure which affected the hotel, and of course, this was not the hotel's fault, although it did result in inconvenience and discomfort to our stay. In addition, some guests were having a noisy party just outside the front entrance which was loud enough to keep me awake in the middle of the night -- our room was a few floors up overlooking the party. I felt that we deserved either compensation or credit for a future stay at a Hilton property, so I went to speak to the manager in the morning. However, there was a long line of people waiting to complain to the manager, and we had to leave, so I didn't get to speak with him. I subsequently emailed the manager 3 times to ask for compensation and he never replied. I called 5 times and the manager was supposedly never there. Finally, I spoke to the assistant manager. He listened attentively assured me that someone would get back to me. That was two weeks ago. I am very disappointed in this poor customer service and unprofessional behavior of their managerial staff.

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit NY. The room was clean, the bed was confortable and the AC worked well. Since it was 100 degrees, the Ac was a must. The coffee maker in our room didn’t work but coffee was complementary at the lobby in the morning. Breakfast was 10$ per person. The bus stop is literally in the hotel parking lot which is even more awesome! It will cost 4.50$ per person( exact cash) and the bus will take you to Port Authority.(Times Square).The only thing is that the first bus in the morning is at 9:30 on weekdays. So if you want to be in town early, it might not be the best place to stay. For us it was okay. We didn’t mind since we were back at the hotel around midnight. Even better, the bus driver will drop you off at the same bus stop ( hotel parking lot)late at night when you come back from town. Since the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with offices it is safe to get back to the hotel late at night. Make sure you ask the front desk clerk to print you out a bus schedule for all the details. You also need to know that the bus is the 167Q. Not the 167T. And when you buy your ticket at the terminal to come back at the hotel, select zone 3. And don’t be late. The buses at the terminal are on time and will not wait and extra minute at the door. We were there for 3 nights and took the bus at door 326. The ride is about 20 minutes to get to the hotel. For us, it was the perfect place to stay because we didn’t want to use our car. One thing we should have done though is to buy the 7day metro card for 34$.( we took single rides) This is definitely the best and cheapest way to get around the city so do not hesitate to buy this card. The whole hotel is good, there is a problem with the service attitude. Although the room provides a free extra bed, but does not provide a quilt, the extra bed can not be used. I hope to improve in the future.

We were booked for 5 nights to attend our daughter's wedding (no confirmation number or email follow up ever given--we booked as part of a wedding so had only a phone call with ”Jeff” to go on)...we found our suite not ready, so another suite on a different floor was substituted. The booking process by phone was convoluted and ”Jeff” rushed us off because he had a meeting he had to attend. The room was tiny (for a suite), dark, smelly and neither the telephone nor the TV remote worked. The Keurig machine was perched so high up I couldn't reach the water reservoir. The $16 breakfast was slim pickings, to say the least. The front desk only provided the bride's welcome bag when we reminded them, the after-party restaurant went bankrupt five days before the wedding and they didn't tell the bride until two days before (they had lost their liquor license)...in fact, the whole experience was so unpleasant, we went down the road to Homewood Suites, booked the remaining four nights there, told them how shoddily the Holiday Inn situation was, and stayed there, even though we had PREPAID and STILL WERE REGISTERED in the suite at Holiday Inn, which we had to go back and forth to for wedding events...we were willing to take the financial hit just to be able to enjoy our daughter's wedding. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know...A particularly shameful incident was when we checked on the room on the third day and found that all our personal belongings we had left there had been stolen--the bride's welcome bag, unopened bags of snacks for the after party, a cooler which we'd bought because we now had to provide our own food and beverages for the after party IN A CONFERENCE ROOM....this hotel let us down in every way. Other guests (two separate guests) were given keys to rooms that were occupied -- and one walked in on a compromising situation! Never again for this place--for the same price we had bright, airy, spacious, clean rooms and a full kitchen five minutes down the road at Homewood Suites.
