Being an old man with 40 years of RV camping experience, Chinook RV park absolutely rates at the top of the scale in all categories. Family owned and operated, Staff personal involvement in taking care of each customer is very evident from check in to check out. The RV park is spic and span clean and all concerns ,if any are immediately addressed. The owners live on site The park is small in comparison to behemoth parks and very quiet. The location is so close to the downtown but it’s within walking distance until you realize there’s no oxygen here at 8100 feet. Oh wait, did I mention I’m old? The Wi-Fi signal is very strong and excess gravel in the park prevent any mud. The dog park even has a motion detector light so you can walk your dog at night. The garbage dumpsters are never overflowing and emptied appropriately and even smell good. The laundry is immaculate and underpriced and dependable. We have been coming here yearly for five years and the great environment and good attitude have never changed.

We chose Chinook Cabins for a weekend getaway hoping for a mountain retreat in an authentic log cabin. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a cozy themed cabin built in 1908 but had the modern amenities including a kitchen and a really cool stone fireplace. The owners, Cheryl and Keith, were very friendly and available to provide tips on things to do in the area and were knowledgeable about the history of their property. I would absolutely recommend Chinook Cabins and will definitely be back to visit in the summer.

Excellent accommodations. Owner/ operators were magnificent. The cabins were like walking back in time. RV park was very nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fantastic vacation spot don’t over look Chinook Cabins & RV

Chinook was s fantastic experience. Keith & Cheryl are excellent hosts and are always ready to help. Large campsites with great wi fi. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a enjoyable experience.

Prima plek om één of meerdere nachten te verblijven. Mooie omgeving waar je goed kan wandelen/vissen enz. Er heerst een vakantiesfeer. Op het terrein staan een aantal sfeervolle cabins en er zijn camperplaatsen. Vraag om een cabin wat verder van de weg i.v.m. mogelijk geluidsoverlast. Cabins zijn smaakvol en met veel hout ingericht, maar niet zo ruim. Zitje aanwezig, zowel binnen als buiten. Er zijn een aantal eenvoudige restaurants in de buurt.
