Best Hotels near Clondalkin Library, South Dublin

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful and gorgeous part of Dublin. A few minutes walk away from the Green Line LUAS. The more compact bedrooms are a bit on the small side for a couple, but they’re still well appointed, very new and clean, and comfortable. The hotel bar is cosy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of parking, you’ll have to park onstreet at fairly considerable expense. Not really the fault of the hotel, but it is something to note if you’re driving here.

My friends and I were all amazed by this very cosy hostel, with a nice staff, good breakfast, living room, nice showers, parking lot, for a good price. The room is in a former chapel with a beautiful Window. And rumor says a jacuzzi's coming! :)

I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory. Beds were very clean, and there waa enough space to store my travel belongings. There was no noise from other rooms, and the shower and toilet inside the room was clean and functional too. 15 to 20 minute walk to Temple Bar, another 10 minute from Temple Bar to Trinity Collegr. Had no problem walking from the accomodation to other points of interests in Dublin. Overall, a great value for travellers. Tip: Do reserve breakfast. The bread is warm if you go in the opening hour, and you can eat enough to last for both breakfast AND lunch while walking all day. Save the lunch budget for better dinner.

Wow what a pleasant stay. The hotel is fantastic. The room was amazing and clean. Staff are so friendly and the food was gorgeous. Drinks at the bar after dinner and a lovely sleep in a huge bed topped it all off. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had previously stayed in this hotel with our son when we were in Blanchardstown for a rugby event. This time my wife and I spent a night in the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I had told Graham who was the reception manager about our anniversary and he arranged for chocolates and cake to be delivered to our room. Graham also arranged for us to have a Premium room, which was beautifully decorated. We spent a lovely day in Blanchardstown and enjoyed having breakfast in the room, which was first class and piping hot. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and have already done so to my friends, we will definitely return!

I stayed Tuesday 3rd August with my son... We stopped here on the way from Belfast as had v v bad experience there ..from the moment I walked in we were made feel very welcome...the receptionist was lovely and friendly, never got his name... We had our dinner there ..in tge out door area as my brother in law joined us which we didn't mind ... The food was gorgeous,,my son was delighted with his mocktail ... The shopping centre literally 2 mins away so we did abit shopping... The 2 girls the served us were lovely and v friendly .. The breakfast was spot on .. I will definitely be back here...and highly recommend this hotel

I stayed here for business. One night in December 2023 and again in February 2024. I stayed here alone because... business. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Reception have been kind enough to check me in early on both occasions. Food in the bar is decent. Not gourmet but more than good enough for a solo traveller (and I'm a bit of a foodie). Staff are friendly and helpful. Their biggest asset is the barman. I don't know his name but he has a wonderful mustash. He is attentive and friendly which is very much appreciated when you're having dinner alone. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Leixslip.

Visited this lovely hotel last Thursday with my partner for one night, the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer , can’t wait to revisit. From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out . We couldn’t fault a thing. Receptionist on check in very friendly and helpful and explained everything to us . Got to our bedroom which was lovely and spacious and spotless clean . Decided to have some food in the main bar ( The Bistro) , from food to service we could not fault a thing . Well done to the chefs , mouthwatering bar menu, next time we visit we definitely will try the restaurant for sure . After the meal we decided to go for a walk and explore the grounds of the hotel to walk off the fullness from the lovely food we had in the bar , beautiful grounds and trails/ walkway around the hotel . After the walk we came back to the bar for some Lovely cocktails which were very nice . Breakfast the next morning was outstanding and plenty to choose from the cold buffet and the hot breakfast was very tasty and again outstanding service from the breakfast staff . After the breakfast we had spa treatments booked in and have to say one of the best treatments we had in a long time and again very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. On checkout we got in talking to the general manager Ger I think is his name who was in the lobby and happened to ask us , how our stay was . He informed us that the hotel was recently taking over by FBD hotel group and that they are in the middle of some changes. Very well done to Ger and all the team at Kilashee hotel , one Of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this hotel for any occasions or gatherings. We had booked a private room with a double bed. The staff is very friendly, really not noisy for a hostel (at least our floor on the 10th). New with USB sockets integrated into the sockets, towels and shower gel/shampoo provided in our room with light detector in the bathroom. The bedding is honest but that of a hostel.... but clean! Elevator and breakfast room. For the price compared to others it's a very good place for a few nights in the heart of the city.
