Upon arrival we were warmly received by very friendly staff - stayed in room number 9 which was lovely and cosy! The aesthetic of the room was clearly well thought out and it was immaculately clean. Not cluttered at all, with black out blinds, sheer blinds and curtains, also lots of windows to let fresh air in. The food is hearty pub grub and the drinks are incredibly well priced. Our booking also included breakfast which was great, as there was lots of choice for vegetarian dietary. Tremendous value for money, couldn’t recommend the stay much higher and have already raved about it to friends and family. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home cooked food, friendly staff, very clean has a 5 star food hygiene rating. We will definately visit again!. I had lamb roast, yourshire pudfing was massive and lamb very tender. My husband has trio of roasts which was lamb, pork and beef which he thoroughly enjoyed .

The setting was lovely of where it was situated. The staff were very nice & friendly, made you feel very welcome. Food was amazing, breakfast & evening meal both. Room was comfortable, comfy bed so slept well. The restaurant was always warm no matter how cold it was outside.

What a lovely pub with rooms this is. The barman was very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was on the top floor, a cosy double, very clean. We were staying with friends for the weekend and had booked a table for dinner. Waitress and waiter were very friendly and the service was relaxed and efficient. The food was delicious and we had a lovely evening. Unfortunately storm Bert caused a few issues on Sunday in Cirencester, so we returned early for Sunday roast and sat in the bar with a bottle of wine instead. Thankfully the pub didn't get flooded but the surrounding areas were pretty bad. Our roast was delicious and the yorkshire pudding was massive. A great weekend, very good value for money and we will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us so well.

An excellent experience in a modernised period character property. The property has the modern comforts with all the charm of our British heritage. The Eliot Arms has plenty of seating in the bar, outside to the front by the stream, the relaxing lounge area and the restaurant (but had to book). The car park is a the back with easy access to the upstairs rooms via a separate door. The greeting upon arrival was very warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean of a good size with a modern spotless ensuite shower room. Our evening meal was excellent of good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed it and followed it with an evening walk in the picturesque village. The breakfast exceeded our expectations it was freshly prepared and excellent!! A hidden gem. During our family trip in the Cotswolds, this was the most beautiful place we had. Fantastic, very charming rooms, delicious dinner and breakfast, and the most lovely staff. Everything was perfectly clean, rooms were all different, but equally nice, and the price was reasonable. This is a place, that has to be visited.
