Sailrock South Caicos

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and everything was exceptional. I love the privacy of the location.. customer service was exceptional, to the manger to staffs. General manger, Putra went over the top by even cooking me traditional Indonesian food because we were talking about it and how I never had it. The view was amazing, food was excellent and I can’t wait to go back.

My adult daughter and I just spent 5 wonderful nights at Sailrock South Caicos, and we would like to thank the team for an amazing experience. First, some lessons learned. We highly recommend taking the direct flight from Miami to XSC, as the immigration line took all of 10 minutes! You can easily travel with a carryon bag, as you only need swimwear, flip flops/sandals without heels, coverups, and shorts/tops/sundress for all meals and activities. They provide L’Occitane bath products, wash cloths, loofas, dental kits etc. They also provide “Off” in the room for the mosquitos and no-see-ums, and we strongly advise using this if you’ll be out early in the morning or later in the evening. Bring sunscreen and a hat for the beach/pool, as the sun is intense. The television and WiFi worked great - we had an oceanview ridge room and had a balcony that wrapped the entire room. The ocean breeze on the balcony was perfect after a long day at the beach. We also thought that the food and beverages were well done, and appreciated the daily change in the dinner menu. Everything was very fresh and made to order. That said, I could eat the calamari and crunchy chicken wrap with fries for lunch every single day! Best calamari I’ve eaten anywhere. Lobster season started August 1st, and the grilled lobster was outstanding! We did the mixology class with Mario - super fun. He was engaging and entertaining and my daughter enjoyed every drink he made. 1 with the “devil’s fire” was incredibly strong, which ended in a lot of laughs for us and the team! We also did a bonefishing lesson with Mr. G - also super fun and instructive. Saw several sharks, jellyfish (not poisonous or stinging), starfish, mullets, barracudas, turtles. One morning on the ocean side, from our balcony we saw whales breaching. We didn’t visit the beach on the Oceanside, as the sargassum was really bad - nothing they can do about that. The sea side beach is very shallow for what looks like miles out. We paddle boarded and could actually stand up if we wanted. We also had really good spa treatments in open air spa bungalows (expensive, but good services). Now for the team - Mr. Frances who picked us up/dropped us at the South Caicos airport, Mervin Joseph who checked us in and showed us to our room, Katherine at The Cove, Korril, Ruperto, Alden, Kevin, Mario, the others in the restaurant, and the buggy drivers - they all were AMAZING. Kind. Efficient. Paid attention to our preferences. And just flat out friendly. Additionally, General Manager Mr. Andre Boersma greeted every guest at dinner and checked on us several times. He also had chicken masala added to the dinner menu after speaking with my daughter - she said it’s the best she’s ever eaten. The chefs were simply GREAT. We enjoyed everything we ate, and the portion sizes were huge. Oh! And nightly turndown service came with a small box of cookies, brownies, banana bread, etc - sooo good!! This is a place to chill. I can tell you this, I be going back soon. The whole staff was great. It's unfortunate lost the names of the individuals I wanted list specifically, but the whole stafe was great. My daughter got stung by a Jellyfish and staff on the beach helped. I'm so grateful for the hospitality and experience.

My wife and I just returned from Sailrock South Caicos. We flew there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by Frances who helped us with our luggage and drove us to the resort. Frances told us all about the island, its history and the local restaurants. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and a tour. The staff was absolutely lovely. The property was immaculate, and the natural beauty of the island was well worth the trip. However, after only being there an afternoon my wife and I had some unforeseen circumstances come up. That evening, we went up to the main building to discuss our options should we have to leave. This is where we met Kiki… the onsite manager and one of the kindest people we have ever encountered. Kiki was very sympathetic to our situation and went above and beyond to make sure we knew that we had several options should we feel we had to leave the island. Kiki gave us her personal number and told us to let her know if he needed anything at all. Unfortunately, in the end, my wife and I did need to leave and within 30 minutes of making the decision Kiki already had us booked on a flight back to Providenciales. Kiki’s kindness and warmth were something that meant so much to us at that time. Even though our stay was quick, I don’t think I have every experienced better customer service. The morning we left we told Kiki that we would be back to visit… part of that is because of the beauty of Sailrock, but it is mostly because of Kiki and her staff. Thank you, Kiki. Unhurried. Unspoiled. Unworried. Perfection. Since returning from Sailrock Resort a week ago, I have shared with everyone who has asked us about our trip that it was the best vacation we've ever taken. Because it was just that. A true vacation. Where we didn't worry about a thing. Where we were loved on and cared for by the exceptional staff. Where we truly lost track of time. Do not come to South Caicos or Sailrock if you are looking for action-packed, are looking for a daily itinerary of activities, or thrive on adventure. Do come to Sailrock if you want to experience some of the most spectacular sunsets, silkiest sand, sparkliest turquoise waters and to feel spoiled and seen by the staff. We took the new Miami flight which was easy peasy and spent 8 nights at Sailrock to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped off the flight and were greeted by Kiki, we felt our worries melt away and welcomed to the island and to the resort. My bag did not arrive (never made it onto the flight at our destination) and my first call to American to sort it out ended in tears (mine). Ashley on the staff said "do not worry - we've got it from here." My bag was delivered the next day with minimal involvement and was able to purchase some necessities in the small gift shop to manage overnight. We stayed in a spacious and immaculately clean Ridgetop Suite (Suite 9A) that was decorated for our arrival to celebrate our anniversary. We were also welcomed with a blue ocean welcome drink at check-in and a complimentary fruit plate in our room. Andre even threw in an extra full-size blue ocean to help offset the anxiety about not having my bag. The bed was comfortable, the views from the suite were lovely and had plenty of room to stretch out and relax on the patio sofa, in the seating area in the suite or in one of two outdoor soaking tubs (one in our own private courtyard area). The primary way to communicate with the staff was through Whatsapp. We used the app to communicate about the missing bag, to request ice or extra towels to be delivered to the room, to inquire about dinner or to request a buggy to take us to the another part of the property. The property is fairly spread out with the main beach at the Cove (with beach chairs, towel service and umbrellas) and the staff happily transports you from place to place because as they repeatedly reminded us "We're on vacation" and they are there to take care of us. Ricky or Junior greeted us every morning at the beach to set up our chairs and get us settled for the day. They also made sure that the Hobie cat, kayaks and paddleboards were set up and would help you get the watercraft in and out of the water (and show you how to use them) throughout the day. Sailrock is a beautiful hotel - one of two on the island and the other hotel is just opening up. Very relaxing get away with the Atlantic ocean on one side of hotel and Caicos bay on the other! ALL the staff were super friendly and provided high-end service. A shout out to Kiki and Ashley and ALL the staff.
