Our top hotel picks are based on price, location, and guest reviews to help you find the best stay.
"The room is quite new, the electrical appliances are from Miller, and the surrounding area is relatively quiet. It's not far from the Acropolis and the beach, and a taxi costs about 10 euros."
"The sanitation is relatively clean. We arrived on the morning of the 11th. They stored our luggage very considerately. Then we went out very early on the 13th. They also packed breakfast for us. They were very enthusiastic and the service was very good. The breakfast was quite good. But I forgot to ask when the deposit would be refunded when I checked out?"
"Very satisfied, totally unexpected, the house is clean and tidy, all items are available, the owner's attentiveness is revealed everywhere, and the large terrace has a beautiful view.
The beautiful owner is also very enthusiastic and took us to taste the local restaurants with good quality and low prices. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Greece."
"The hotel is new and clean. Breakfast is served to the room a la carte. The portions are large and rich. Pretty good. The location is great too. Behind is the sea. Walked over for two minutes. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. There are not only buses but also sightseeing buses. The bus goes directly to the airport. Very convenient"
"Overall, the stay was decent. The location is quiet and close to the seaside, with supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes all within walking distance. I especially enjoyed the amazing shrimp tempura at the nearby restaurant Mera—highly recommended!
However, the hotel offers very limited amenities. There were no toothbrushes, umbrellas, or slippers provided—not even upon request. I found it especially puzzling that slippers weren’t available. The floors were freezing, and with no place nearby to buy disposable ones, it really affected my comfort. Most travelers don’t pack slippers for this kind of weather, and having to walk barefoot on cold floors significantly impacted my experience.
I truly hope the hotel considers this feedback. It’s a small change, but it could make a big difference in guest comfort."
"Only enough domestic fast hotel standards, facilities are old, the room tastes heavy. I am because the customer is convenient in this neighborhood, because the prepaid can't be refunded and barely stayed for two nights."
"One of the best hotels near the south beach, the rooms are small but designed with care. There is also a professional spa, which is worth recommending. The price is a bit expensive, but this summer, hotel prices in Europe have risen sharply."
"The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area although somewhat far from Athens, the Acropolis (40 minutes by bus and metro).
The hotel looks renovated and very nice, the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with everything, they speak several languages so surely a person at the reception speaks your language and it will be easier for you to understand them.
The only drawback is that the avenue that runs right next to the hotel is very wide and at night you can hear the noise of motorcycles passing by at high speed. The insulation of the windows could be improved although we were able to rest perfectly."
"Bad location, close to the road, not many restaurants nearby
Self-service check in, use the phone to call customer service to get the password
The bathroom is easy to pop water out of the room, it is not recommended to stay"
"The hotel is located right in the center of Glyfada and is a bit noisy, but it has a nice environment. Each room has a small terrace and the staff are friendly."

Amazing
DDanjuanmamahuanyoushijieI went to Greece to celebrate my third anniversary with my boyfriend. Because last time I stayed at one&only in Montenegro, it was quite comfortable. Mainly because it was super beautiful. This time I chose O&O for four nights in Athens. Let me start with the recommendation index of five stars! The existence of a super surprise is the first choice O&O in Athens. After all, compared with Aman, the price/performance ratio is still there!
The location of the hotel is not in the city of Greece. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Acropolis or the temple by taxi. It costs about 40 euros. It is recommended that if you want to go to the city center, it is best to make it a one-day trip. Otherwise, it will be quite a torturous journey to the airport if you are caught in traffic jams every day. It takes about 30-40 minutes, but there are commercial streets near the hotel that take about 5 minutes by taxi, and there are restaurants and shops, so you don’t have to worry about being bored!
The room type I booked is a king bed with sea view. The price per night is about 650 pounds. There is a discount for staying for three consecutive nights! Before going, I sent an email to the hotel in advance to communicate that I had been there for the anniversary. As soon as you enter the hotel, every staff member will say happy anniversary to you, which is really warm! Maybe it was too late after arriving at the hotel? ? There are no queen beds, only twin beds➕We just had our anniversary and they upgraded us to a bungalow of 1,500 pounds per night! No matter which room type you choose, there will be a separate butler when you check in. Use whagsapp to contact us. If you have any needs, just send a message directly and they will try their best to satisfy you!
This room type is a small villa similar to a courtyard. Each room has its own swimming pool. However, when I went there, the water was so cold that I couldn't swim at all.
We went out for dinner on the anniversary day and it was a great surprise when we came back. They prepared anniversary cakes and champagne for us. Zundu was beautiful!
The scenery is really beautiful! By the way, I also took a look at kea island O&O. It won’t open until the beginning of April. I plan to go there for my birthday!
GGuest UserDouble standard room is a basement that smells of sewage. Definately not a garden its a tiny corner wth 2 chairs and some plants! Take Care! 😡😡
When we we went to their titchy reception he said he cannot do anything and we need to call reservation office! So we were trying to get a hold of them and called 6 times. Nobody answererd! We were willing to pay to be moved to a normal room they called back about 3 - 4 hours later saying they would see what they can do. Surprisingly within the same call they changed what they had initially said and said they can’t. The room was horrible and definately not 30 m2. At most 18-20m2. The room is clean but thats about it, all in all a TERRIBLE experience!!
GGuest UserDefinitely recommend this hotel.
I've never written a review before.
Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel.
Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile.
Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements.
And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out.
Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower.
One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel.
Top. 💯
GGuest UserFamily room, the room is about 15 square meters, clean, comfortable, breakfast variety is slightly less, the surrounding environment is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the seaside park, the Aegean Sea is unimaginable, too comfortable
GGuest UserExcellent 3 night stay and added a extra night. Total if 4 nights! Friendly and helpful staff, ample parking for regal vehicles and a very close location to Athens Centre. Highly recommend
LLorraineGThe hotel was sleek. I like the minimalist style of the hotel. Looks very new. The receptions area was bright and shiny. Classy.
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and a swimming pool (do not know if you can swim in the summer). It is not that big. From the rooftop you can see the parthenon. It was nice!
The staff there are friendly and helpful. The food is okay and drinks were good though hotel price as we all know, is pricey.
The room was spacious enough but they had no telephone to use to call the receptions if ever you need anything. However, I like that they had a nespresso.
The location though is not that near to Plaka and Acropolis. It’s almost more than a kilometer away but it’s a straight line. If you are a walker, that would be a good warm up.
They could call you a cab any time and they had all the information that we needed.
Downside: Elevator was slow and noise from the hallway and the road could easily be heard. Wish they would do something to make the rooms sound proof.
MMatinaThe hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.
The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The breakfast buffet was varied.
The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.
UUmanokzyGood hotel, good breakfast, friendly staffs the hotel located is good close to the tram station and close to shopping area Glyfada but it’s pretty far from downtown Athens, By tram will take you an hour to get to town and another hour to get back
AAnonymous UserThe room was nice and you could see the sea. The location is on the side of a busy road which is quite noisy. There is a construction site next to the hotel and there is a lot of noise during the day.
GGuest UserThe location of the house is very good. It is on the street of Glyfada. The beach is just across the road and you can go swimming. It is also close to the commercial street and it is very convenient to buy food and go shopping. The hotel customer service Christina and Julia are warm and thoughtful. I will choose this place again next time I go there.
