Hotel Marhaba Club

This is the easyJet of hotels. It sucks you in with a seemingly good deal, then takes off every conceivable extra to make up for it. Loads of little annoyances: - zero information in the room or check in about breakfast/dinner times, wifi etc - although the deal says "half board" this does not cover any drink at all, not even water. The waiters came up to me and took water away on several occasions. No water in room, no kettle. They even "accidentally" took a bottle of water I'd bought elsewhere. Pushing for you to buy the all-you-can-drink deal instead. - perhaps related: there were loud and violent fights in the corridors all 3 nights I was there. One night glass in the corridor from a domestic altercation, one night screaming children, one night a guy attacked a girl. I know because the corridors are so echoey that you could hear a mouse fart outside your room. - Nothing in the room. No do not disturb sign, no bag for the laundry, no fridge, no kettle, no hairdryer, AC didn't work. Cleaners came in on day 2, took my pillowcases and bath mat, opened the door to my balcony, and left. Meanwhile there were ***** on the floor. -Staff were unmotivated and patronising. I told reception that the phone in my room was broken and she just looked at me like "and?". I lost an item and staff couldn't even be bothered to look for it in their office. Every time I asked a simple question I got treated like I was clueless and naive, when I'm an experienced solo traveller of over a decade. Pros: the rooms are giant, the pool is nice and the buffet is pretty good. But all the little irritations caused a death of a thousand paper cuts and I was relieved to leave.

Pros: Good food with a wide choice and staff are happy make you something if you have a fussy eater. Clean rooms and clean hotel, a good size TV in your room with access to many viewing apps to choose from, staff are quick to sort out any problems with your room. Staff are friendly and always welcoming and happy to help. Cons: The main pool bar is dated and tried looking and no snacks at the pool side like in the sister hotel. Entertainment was held in the main reception area and lacked adequate seating for the number of guests, so we never got to see the evening shows, maybe they are updating these areas as there was a beach club but it was closed. Overall, we had a great time, and we would visit again.

Typical “all inclusive hotel”. Service not brilliant - for instance, room not serviced every day, shortages of basics like cups, glasses, and spoons in the restaurant! Hotel has a total of 6 coffee machines, only one of which will be working at any one time! The working one may be on the beach, by the pool or in the bar, who knows? The main bar frequently serves beer and spirits in “toddler size” paper cups due to the glass shortage, and was unable to come up with a gin and tonic for most of our stay ( no tonic). Beach was a mess, with sun beds just piled at random, and wet sand covered mattresses as well. In fairness, this could be due to wet and windy weather. Food is reasonable, and plentiful, but don’t expect a gourmet experience, although the breakfast omelette man is a star!

i really passed a good holiday with my family i came for one week and i don’t want to back home i like it so much i feel like im in my home cause of the people they working there the barmen’s life guards and specially the animation team they did great job and they make us feel we r familyyyy i really want to thank all that people they make our holiday better

The staff here are lovely and make the hotel an enjoyable experience. The animation team (Alex,Marcello and Fouffa) are excellent and are very kind. The bar staff are also excellent and very friendly especially Hamza!! …………………::::::::::

The staff in this hotel are truly superb, especially Alex and fufa who are constantly working extremely hard all day and night and have been wonderful with our kids. The pool and facilities are all ok, Wi-Fi is extremely good. Drinks are all ok, spirits could be better but drinkable something to eat for everyone. All in all a lovely family hotel.

I really passed a good holiday in Marhaba club I’m enjoying specially with the animation team cause they make our holiday better and better and they know how to treat guests they really know how to work and for sure the bar men’s too the pool was so clean the rooms everything was okay
