When you will be at Yalakhom there won’t be any view you could take your eyes off. The people managing the homestay are also great. They take their time in cooking food, but they will serve you the freshest food possible with wide variety to choose from, that too at such a remote place. The wonderful folks at Yalakhom also offer accompanied guidance for treks, however I wasn’t aware of this until my final day at Yalakhom, so I couldn’t make use of the same. Pemba bhai, Agrimji, Resham bhai and Yangzee didi must be specifically mentioned. They will accomodate you as you are their friend, while respecting your privacy at the same time.
