the hotel is close to the train station and bus terminal (also flix bus), but it would take 15-20 minutes to walk to the ferry to Capri.
our bus ran late and it was so good that the staff was waiting for us at the door. she explained to us all about the hotel, showed us the room, and then a bit about Sorrento, where to eat, what to see, where is the best spot to see the sunset, how to get to the ferry, and etc. very friendly and helpful. breakfast is great. oh, the drinks from the front desk are cheaper than those you get from the supermarkets and shops!

It was close to Sorrento Station, and the breakfast was so delicious! Thanks to you, I ate well and had a good trip.

Oh, but there is no separate door to the bathroom haha. Still, the room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious and clean, there was a coffee pot, the owner was very friendly, and the bed and pillows were soft and really nice~~~

VERY accommodating The hosts went out of their way to ensure my laundry got washed and cleaned! They dropped it off locally and delivered it back for us! We also checked in at 11pm and they were calling us and making sure we were okay and waited for us for a very late check in. Breakfast also VERY good!

We stayed at the Sorrento Relais for 5 nights in May. It is a family operated Bed and Breakfast. The location was good. For example, it was close enough to walk to the train station. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the variety of choices available for breakfast and the pleasant service we received. Pasquale was helpful with suggestions for activities and I wish we had contacted him before we came. We were looking for a place at a reasonable price and Sorrento Relais worked well.

This morning I received 2 emails from ********** regarding a booking for next week. The first at claimed I had changed the dates to the end of the month, and the next a minute later saying I had changed the date to today while I am at work in the UK.Why would I dod that? I was shocked. I argued about this but they said they would cancel...and do me a favour by waiving the fee! Why had they done this? Maybe because prices had gone up since March when we booked and they didn't want to lose out. Our plans were in ruins. I spent nearly two hours looking for something else to book, but of course a last minute booking was now significantly more expensive. Of course I booked something as I can't now cancel flights without losing out even more. ********** blamed the hotel, but I notice they use them on their website and have them down as a good rating.

Staff was excellent and super friendly. on arrival they explained the parking (pre-booked (15EUR/day) and right in front of the door. check in was super easy and did even an early check-in, which was very nice of them. rooms are clean, bathroom are clean. fridge and safe available. Aircon is unfortunately not cold enough (was on 18celcius....but i am normally used to colder :-P) but all in all it was a very pleasant stay. the breakfast lady also does the check out, and she was soo sweet. breakfast, typical italian breakfast, which was very nice. location is great, and considering the price, its a good pick. all in walking distance. Wifi had a little glitch, but was fixed the next day.

Good location. Quiet. Clean and new. The included breakfast has a lot of choices. Very good price for Sorrento. However, we had a basement room and there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Also, there didn't seem to be a siphon on the sink drain, so we had sewer smells from time to time. Also, in the room, there seemed to be several poorly done repairs to the ceiling. (Old water damage?) Nearby activities: Lemon orchard right across the street. You can visit and buy artisanal limoncello. Walkability: Close to the city center and the train station. Getting to the Port is about a 15min walk. The return from the Port is longer since you have to climb a lot of stairs or make a detour to take the elevator.

I loved this stay, the location was very good, close to the train station and the center was very walkable, the room was spacious, bright, with air conditioning, kettle, tea and mini refrigerator available, the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean, shower in good condition. The breakfast they offer is perfect to start the day, what improves the experience is the quality of customer service. Highly recommended.
