The hotel is a family heritage, and the service staff are very nice. It can be seen that they love this job from the bottom of their hearts... What a coincidence, I met their Michelin dinner. Naihua, until the finale, all dancers and carnivals 🎉, the whole atmosphere scene is like a fairy tale...perfectly interprets Italians' relentless pursuit of beautiful details! Recommend friends who come to Nanyi, you must come and experience it

The hotel is wonderful. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms which combine a classic Italian style with a fresh and modern feel; delicious breakfast; beautiful and large pool; lovely quiet grounds. We liked that the sea-facing terrace and bar areas are reserved for hotel guests, meaning one can always get a table. Every member of staff we encountered was delightful - friendly, relaxed, helpful and welcoming, from Carmine at the property gates to all of the reception, concierge and restaurant teams. A great experience and we’ll certainly visit again. Grazie mille!

We are currently staying at this Hotel for the first time, usually staying in Positano for the two weeks in August, we thought we would stay here for a week, having visited and stayed in Sorrento many times. We have been lucky to have stayed in many "Leading Hotels of the World" Group. This one, after only two days is exceptional, the staff are attentive, friendly and genuine. We look forward to the rest of our holiday. I should note that I do not regularly post on Trip Advisor unless something is worth mention!

The exceptional service and dedication of the hotel staff, particularly the Hotel Manager Ms. Laterza, and her colleagues in the Events Office, stood out and made our special day unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect! They accommodated all our needs and looked after us from throughout the planning process and on our big day. Their professionalism and warm hospitality ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy every moment! The stunning location of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria was simply the perfect location for our Wedding. The breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, combined with the hotel’s historic charm and luxurious style created an elegant and dreamy atmosphere that our guests are still complimenting us about. We are incredibly grateful to the entire staff at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria for making our Wedding an extraordinary event and were key in creating memories that will last a lifetime. After 190 years this Grand Hotel is quite extraordinary with location, service staff, food and amenities. Thelynlything missing is private access to the sea although there is an elevator to take you to the marina where you can find private beach clubs. Each team member of the Hotel is well trained and ser ice orient which is what you get from a 5th generation family run business. Prices are still elevated from pre pandemic yet you get what you pay for.

This hotel is superb. We return here every year because everything is so addictively outstanding - service quality, drinks quality, views from the terrace, location, Bosquet (which surely deserves more than its one star - we’ve been at far worse three stars), and our favourite hotel manager Tiziana who now welcomes us like family. We got married here this year - Tiziana and the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. She thought of every detail and was on hand for every minute of the event. Food exceptional (a tasting menu for a wedding party). Wine endless and delicious. Service and set up faultless. Neither we nor our guests could quite believe how good it was. Many want to come back. 12/10 recommended - either for holiday or wedding.

Spent 5 days to celebrate a wedding anniversary with family and friends. The rooms are charming with unique individual touches in every room. The seaside view is breathtaking but the gardens are also heavenly. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a live pianist daily. The staff are very attentive and nice. The beauty of the place is complemented by the quality of dining including a Michelin starred restaurant. The location is perfect in the middle of town and Capri is only 20 minutes away via a ferry that departs virtually at the bottom of the terrace elevator. The pool is large and modern and well attended with mats on the sunbeds and fresh towel service. Positano is only a 30 minute drive via taxi or driving although driving on this road is not for the amateur drivers. The manager Tiziana is extremely friendly and kind and added her personal touch to make our stay and celebration unforgettable. Make sure you talk to her if you plan on doing some serious shopping at Gucci in Capri!
