Hidden GEM ! This was our final destination ! The staff helped to organize each day to maximize our experience in the area... available driver....Breakfast selections were OVER THE TOP ! and Dinners were personalized and romantic ! Our Room that welcomed me with chocolate covered strawberries and wine - which my husband arranged with Rosa had the Volcano View -Mount Vesuvius..and private balcony/jacuzzi ...room was large with luxury bathroom features.. Wish we had more time to stay ..especially to attend the cooking class on site with there personal Chefs...However, I plan to return and will certainly recommend this "Palace"- to anyone looking for that exclusive hotel feel..Thank You Rosa, Maria, Ralphella, Barbara and her father, Johnny, and special thanks to FRANCO for your hospitality and your attentiveness! I stayed at Relais Palazzo del Barone with my family for 4 days and had the BEST experience. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Barbara and fell in love with her immediately. She was so gracious and made us feel very welcome. The lemon trees, the lush greenery and beautiful flowers created the perfect atmosphere. They have a pool onsite with a sea view that overlooks the Sorrento coastline. The daily breakfast was amazing. It included freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, variety of cheeses/meats, eggs, fresh fruits and so much more. They offer a shuttle to/from town which is an added plus. Vincenzo was our driver and was so friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained. A hands on cooking class is also offered here which uses ingredients from their gardens. What a great experience and I highly recommend doing. I am a travel agent and travel frequently and I must say this is now one of my favorite places!! We will definitely return!! Thank you Palazzo del Barone for such a wonderful stay!!

I think we found our new "happy place" on earth! We completely enjoyed our stay at The Relais Palazzo Del Barone. We came with another couple and stayed for a few nights between our visit between Rome and Sorrento. We were so sad when we had to leave. While we were there, we took the cooking class and we were so happy we did. We left with aprons, recipe booklets, and the new knowledge of making delicious Italian dishes! I cannot wait to try the recipes here at home! If I could give 10 stars I would. Our hope is to return someday for a longer stay! Many thanks to Fabio, Barbara, and all the staff there. It was an outstanding stay and we truly appreciated your hospitality! Tim and Marianna and friends :)

We absolutely loved the Palazzo del Barone for our honeymoon. Our room was perfect, we absolutely loved the view, such a great way to wake up each morning. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious, we really enjoyed it before heading out each day. One night we also decided to enjoy dinner there and it was fabulous. The shuttle worked out great, we had no issues getting to and from Sorrento center and the Marina. We actually really liked staying out of the center, it was peaceful plus had such great views.

Every thing is nice the hotel provides a shuttle from hotel to sorrento and to train station and pick up from both. All the stuff are helpful and friendly i recommended the hotel. The view of balcony to the see. The hotel also provides cook class.

If you’re looking for a place to stay near Sorrento , you don’t need to look any further ! Flavio and his family and staff are so warm and welcoming . They were able to meet all of our needs and the hotel and grounds are simply stunning . The shuttle into town was a very valuable tool . We did the lunch cooking school at Chez Barone ( on the property ) and it was one of my favorite things on the whole trip ! A + accommodations !

Palazzo del Barone might be one of the best places we have ever stayed. Beautiful, peaceful location offering a welcome respite from the busy, crowded city of Sorrento. The property is kept in pristine condition at all times. The food and wine (included breakfast and dinner 3 evenings) was the best we experienced in the Sorrento area. All ingredients fresh and perfectly prepared. Staff helpful and informative, especially Rosa, Chiara and Franco. We enjoyed the evening cooking class run by Anna. It was fun and we made some delicious dishes. The hotel is a distance from town, but the shuttle is available to you and there is a walking path (not for the faint-hearted though!) The distance allows for a tranquil and relaxing stay from which the incredible views of the Bay of Naples may be enjoyed.
