Ara Maris

From the moment we pulled up to the Ara Maris until the moment we pulled away was an incredible experience. The location is close to everything. Newly remodeled with all of the upgraded amenities. The staff is very friendly, polite, accommodating and willing to go the extra step in making everything perfect. The breakfast was excellent offering almost everything. The pool was beautiful and service was great. The rooftop bar had stunning views with excellent service and lots of choices for food. The rooms are beautiful with housekeeping daily with very comfortable beds, bedding and towels. We cannot wait to come back!

Just left this amazing hotel. Great location, great staff and great accommodations. Our room had sea views that were incredible. Walking distance to shops, dining and beach clubs was easy. The views of Capri and Vesuvius from the rooftop bar were stunning. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Sorrento that is looking for an upscale experience. 5 stars!!!

Our stay at the Ara Maris Hotel was a unique experience. This brand-new hotel, with its stunning finishes and exceptionally comfortable beds, offered a level of luxury and comfort that was truly extraordinary. The view from our room, facing the ocean and offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, was a sight that left us in awe. The service at Ara Maris is not just impeccable, it's tailored to make you feel truly valued. The front desk and the Food and Beverage team, led by Enrico and Chiro, went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect. The highlight of our stay was an incredibly thoughtful gesture by Chiro and his team. While we were sitting by the pool, they turned on the music and played "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. They then served us a bottle of Prosecco and some fruit, celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. We were so moved by this gesture, which made our stay even more special. The hotel's amenities are equally impressive. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring various options and excellent pastries. We even enjoyed our breakfast poolside, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool area is a tranquil oasis, perfect for relaxation during the day. One of the many unique experiences at Ara Maris was the Lumi Sky Lounge. This hidden gem offered panoramic views of the Gulf and Capri, a sight that will forever be engraved in our memories. The Bartender's phenomenal cocktail list, especially the Mojito Limoncello, was incredible. We enjoyed these drinks while watching the beautiful sunset, which added to the excitement of our evening. Ara Maris Hotel is undoubtedly a five-star luxury destination you should not miss when visiting Sorrento. We can't wait to return and relive this incredible experience. Thank you, Sam & Ron

This hotel is amazing for the location, cleanliness, pillows, beds, ocean views , Rooftop bar, showers, and most important the service and the most pleasant people. We had a wonderful time. GianLuca was super nice and very professional and gave us great recommendations. we enjoyed the breakfast and the Roof top bar is super Beautiful with amazing views of the sunset and The Vesuvio Mountain. Will stay again and again. Did I mentioned walking distance to Great Restaurants .. especially L'Abate. Recommend this hotel anytime and we will be back to sorrento. Thank You GianLuca .

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The management and staff are amazing, service is impeccable, decor is beautiful, breakfasts are excellent. The location is central and easy to walk to the main shops and restaurants. The pool and sky bar are beautiful. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Bit reluctant to say how fabulous this hotel is as no doubt when we try and stay again, it will be full! It’s superb. The staff are so friendly and so helpful It is about 6 mins walk to the train station so it’s incredibly easy for the train to Pompeii. And it’s about an 8 min walk to the lift to get you to the ferry. But it’s behind the square so you are not on a busy thoroughfare. It simply perfect. The Sky bar is huge and we sat and had cocktails one evening and watched some fireworks from a wedding party across the town. Can’t imagine anywhere else in Sorrento being this good. Oh … and the pool is gorgeous. With sun beds that have thick comfortable mattresses. And the breakfast is incredible. Can’t recommend this hotel more highly. And I can’t imagine we won’t return … next year if possible. Thank you Ara Maris.

Ara Maris is a fantastic property to stay at when visiting Sorrento. Not only is the hotel new, well maintained, the staff is excellent! A special shout out to Enrico who gave us a warm welcome and was there to make our stay memorable. To Martina, Carmen, Antonio and the rest of the Ara Maris staff that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us exceptional service! This property is just like the view; amazing!

- Extremely kind and well attentive. - They clean very often (several times a day) so if you don’t want to be disturbed you just have to show the “do not disturb sign”. - Pool area is very relaxing and feels like you are in a resort rather than a hotel. - Excellent distance to the city center. - Various options for the breakfast. - Good view from the room (sea view room) - Bit pricey several services - valet parking, spa - so I haven’t used it

I cannot say enough about this lovely hotel. From the moment you walk in the staff is very welcoming. The hotel is impeccable, clean and the service is beyond wonderful. It was a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel and we are so lucky that we did. Julia, the concierge is very friendly and informative. She recommended some excellent restaurants.Enrique and JonLuca are very accommodating. The restaurant staff is amazing and so is the food. Great breakfast buffet. Everything is very clean and well kept. They also have a wonderful spa. Beautiful pool area I can’t wait for my next trip to Sorrento, I will definitely stay there again.
