Camping Hotel Au Lac de Como

In October we met up with friends from Australia for a week here. We have been here before (summer, October, February and once around Christmas/New Year) and we thought it would be a good idea to meet up here again to show our friends Lake Como. The place is very beautiful, you are really on the lake. Not super luxurious, sanitary facilities dated, but super clean. Relaxed atmosphere at the campsite! The area is really beautiful for walking (in the mountains - you can walk straight from the campsite into the mountains) and there are very nice cycling routes for regular bikes or mountain bikers/cyclists. Flat and mountainous routes. Water sports are also good here. We visited many nice villages/towns again this time. Varenna, Belaggio, Menaggio, Belano, Bergamo, Chiavenna, Morbegno and Como. Last time we went to Milan by train from Colico. If you buy the ticket Io viaggio in Lombardia, you can travel all day by public transport (costs about 17 euros pp). You can buy at the station. Markets nearby are also very nice! Oh yes, don't forget the waterfalls in Domaso!! You can walk very far up. You can park your car on Via Roma (near the church). Don't forget your water shoes. Au lac de Como has pleased us for years, recommended!

Nous étions 4 dans un petit bungalow. Les plaques de cuissons, évier, frigo, et ustensiles de cuisines sont sur la terrasse (couverte) du bungalow. Tout y est très fonctionnel, la séparation avec le voisinage est légère, le cadre est très charmant. La chambre est petite, mais suffisante pour y dormir. Les sanitaires sont très propres. En conclusion, c'est un camping sympathique qui suffit largement pour y séjourner quelques jours.
