I stayed at this hotel in the first week of July with my husband. I had already been to this hotel several times in the past, then for several years, also because of covid, we were unable to return. So this year, having had the opportunity again, without hesitation, we booked at this property. Unfortunately, however, upon our arrival we found a new management and the differences were not long in coming... We immediately noticed that there was not even a flower on the balconies, unlike practically all the other hotels in the valley. We entered and, accustomed to a warm welcome, we instead noticed a lot of detachment and coldness, little inclination to greet customers, even at the time of check-out where, in fact, due to a misunderstanding, the lady was rude and ill-mannered to say the least. English: As for food, we left the abundant appetizer buffets of the past to find only a very sparse buffet with little choice. Food, perhaps thought to be simple at first but within everyone's reach, has been replaced by sophisticated cuisine with strange combinations that are not to our taste. Sometimes I sent dishes back to the kitchen as they were offered to me but there was never a waiter who asked us if everything was okay or why I didn't eat and if I would have liked something instead. As for the room, on the second day I accidentally stained the bed sheet and it was never changed for the entire stay. I read other positive reviews and I am quite shocked. As far as I am concerned, unfortunately we will never return to this facility that was our little paradise and we will not even be able to advertise it well with friends and relatives. We really miss the old management when coming to Latemar was like returning to family.
