My actual goal was a concert in Tübingen. However, the city hotel can be considered a cheaper alternative to the overpriced selection of hotels in Tübingen. There are cheap day tickets for public transport in the region. The hotel does not have its own parking spaces, but there are enough paid ones in the nearby parking garage. If you're lucky, you can even find a free one on the street from time to time. It's a 350-meter walk from the train station, 4-6 minutes. And there's a pedestrian zone, shopping, cafes and restaurants right in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel itself also has a good restaurant and wine bar/bar, and when the weather is nice, you can also dine outside. And for entertainment, if someone gets bored, they can analyze why there's a crack in the facade of the building opposite. The hotel is designed to be cheap and practical; a new building, so everything is modern. Without an elevator, you can't expect barrier-free access. But even the rooms on the 2nd floor are still easily accessible for most people. All are non-smoking rooms, from single to family rooms for up to five people. The economy room also had a desk, hairdryer, kettle and good free WiFi. I had a room facing the street, and the restaurant also had outdoor seating - which was also very popular. But it was still reasonably quiet, with the windows closed. There is no 24-hour reception, but arrival outside of official hours can be arranged. Very friendly and customer-friendly service, family-like, everything clean and working. Since I had to leave early, I couldn't try the breakfast. If you need anything, you should stock up on provisions before you get to the train station. On Saturday mornings, and on Sundays anyway, there are few to no suitable options there.

We had an awesome stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located inside the outlet. The location is exceptional and wonderful, making it very convenient for shopping. The hotel is stylish and trendy, with cool and friendly staff. Our room was also stylish, though the bathroom was a bit too small. Some might find the room a bit ”unfinished” due to the lack of paint or wallpaper on the ceiling, but I was okay with that as it adds to the industrialized style. The hotel is quite large, but both lifts are located together, so you might have to walk a bit to reach them. For breakfast, they have an exciting automatic pancake machine! However, there were many people at breakfast, and the food was not always enough, so the staff were really busy refilling it. Despite this, the staff remained helpful and nice. If you drive to the hotel, be aware that you might not be able to park in the nearest car park. There is a car park underneath the hotel marked ”Moxy Hotel,” but since you cannot reserve parking, it's not guaranteed that you can park there. However, the rates are the same if you park in other nearby car parks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

This is a very cost-effective hotel and highly recommended. The location is a bit off, suitable for self-driving, of course, you can go shopping in Metzingen, only 10 kilometers away from outlets. The breakfast is OK, the hardware is OK, the service is OK, the balcony of the room has a wide view, and the autumn forest is very beautiful! I want to stay one more night and there is no room!

The rooms are sufficiently large, modernly furnished and were absolutely clean. The beds are ok, we have very well sleeped. The service staff was very friendly, the settlement was completely smooth. The only shortage is the parking facilities. To unload and load the vehicle we had to park in the stop inside the entrance because the only hotel own parking inside the entrance was already loaded. Our vehicle had to be placed at a parking place 300 m away in a side street in the night, reserved for hotel guests. Coffee is available for guests around the hour free. We had booked without breakfast, so we can't say anything about other services.

The Hotel Krone is a fabulous hotel in the wonderful city of Tübingen. It's not exaggerated to affirm that it's the best hotel in that city. At first sight upon entering the building for the start of a stay at the hotel one feels impressed owing to the tasty decoration and other elements contributing to create a pleasant atmosphere. That feeling is supported by the wellcome one receives from the personnel working at the front desk, particularly if the new coming guest has the luck and the pleasure to be attended by Loreena, as it was my case. The hotel lies quite close to the city historical center, in a rather quiet place. The main entrance is in Uhlandstraße, a street with not much traffic. In that where the building right hand side façade is there isn't hardly any traffic. Behind the building there is a inner court, a part of which is destined to the hotel parking. In order to get to the historical center one needs to go across a bridge over the river Neckar form which very nice views can be enjoyed. I stayed in that hotel at the end of August last year and I liked so much both the hotel end the city that I returned there twice, in October 2021 and in May 2022, staying of course at the same hotel. The rooms I was allocated respectively each time are very nice and comfortable, not only as regards the beds but likewise as far as everything inside is concerned. The bed is no doubt very comfy, the mattress having the right toughness for assuring a good rest. Besides, the room is very peaceful so that I heard no noise during my stays at the hotel. The whole hotel is a calm place, the building being apparently soundproof. The breakfast is abundant and excellent. Everything offered for that meal is of the utmost good quality. The fruits are fresh and varied. It's obvious that the pastry is usually of recent manufacture insofar as, for instance, the croissants are still sometimes a bit warm. The crammed meat and the eggs are likewise very tasty. That breakfast powered me all day up until dinner time. Besides, the breakfast room is clean and pleasant, with the adequate light. The music is there none the less somewhat disturbing. Its quality is rather bad and therefore its suppression would be much appreciated. All the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. In any case, Loreena's good manners and service are outstanding. She is wellcoming and sincere, and her kindness and friendliness could be placed above the average. The other staff members are also very kind and efficient. One of them helped me the first time I lodged in the hotel to take the suitcase out of the car. The room maids are also kind and concientious workers. On the occasion of my second stay, upon my departure, one of them helped me on her own initiative take a part of my baggage to the car and put the big suitcase into the trunk. We arrived at about 8 o'clock in the evening. There was no one at the front desk. Only a machine at the door could enter the password. We found it at the door for a long time before calling the customer service. After he informed the password, we tried the operation, but the weather may be too cold, only about -4 degrees. I tried it a few times and I couldn't sense it. I can't keep trying. I have to wait for the mechanical idle for about1-2 minutes before I can try again. After trying it many times, I finally succeeded (thank you Lord). This hotel should be family-style management, separated by 2 feet, one door is next to the door, and the other door is after entering the restaurant after a door, a little lost. Appreciation point: The room is clean and larger than other hotels. Although the food is not much for breakfast, there are things to have, and the taste is very good.
