Songyang Qingfeng Yuanying

It is a house with a history of more than 300 years. It is run by a friendly and enthusiastic old couple. It is probably the best and newest B&B in the village. It is very suitable for a few days of leisure and relaxation.

I'm super satisfied with our B&B, it's made entirely of an ancient house! It feels like living in a Qing Dynasty house~ Maoyuan Village is very quiet. The village is not big, there is gurgling water, and the house is very comfortable. I am very willing to stay there for a day without doing anything~ My grandpa is very kind. He feeds me fruit every day. It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival when I went there, and he even let me eat Dragon Boat Festival burritos together~ Behind the house is an ancient trail with a large ancient tree. There are very few tourists. I love it so much! 

I am so satisfied with my choice of accommodation this time. I have never stayed in a 300-year-old ancient house. It is very quiet and comfortable. Waking up early with the sound of birdsong and water is very healing. You can also order dinner in advance. The pig's trotters made by grandma made me show off two bowls of rice! Before leaving, my grandpa gave me peach gum and explained the stew method in detail. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come to Songyang again!

The dinner was sumptuous and the 300-year-old house was very clean. It is also very convenient to drive to nearby attractions. The boss was very enthusiastic and gave me a lot of vegetables and Qingming fruit before leaving.

The location is close to Songzhuang Village, which can be reached in 20-30 minutes on foot and only 10 minutes by car. However, due to the National Day road closure from 8-18:00, you can only buy scenic cars to enter and exit. It's okay to have a casual breakfast. It doesn't mean you won't prepare it if you can't get up. It's more casual. We have a meal when we get up at 10 o'clock. Dinner is also served here. There is nothing else to eat around. The old couple cooks a little at will, usually 3 dishes, which is okay and the charge is not expensive. The place is not very comfortable. The soundproofing of the old house is very poor. We live on the first floor. People on the second floor can hear it just by walking. People who are light sleepers should be careful. We went into the river in front of our house and had insect bites all over our legs. Please be careful when entering the water.

The ancient house is newly renovated, and the furnishings in each room are different and beautiful! Ruiwu's electric water heater and oversized air conditioner are very useful! Ruiwu has a very high floor. There is a lot of space upstairs and downstairs, and there are many places for children to play. The whole village is very quiet, without the hustle and bustle of the Internet celebrity village. It is a sparsely populated village that has not been noticed by anyone. There is a small shop and a creek at the entrance of the village. The two simple elders at the B&B, my grandparents, cooked us many delicious meals of fragrant baby potatoes 🥔 each meal was prepared in a different way. We stewed peach gum, which the children loved to drink. Every breakfast is cooked in a different way for us. There are 7 people cooking at least 4-6 dishes for us to eat. Before leaving, he also gave us a bag of cooked sweet corn for us to eat on the way, which was unforgettable and touching! Now I think about how lucky I am to live in such a good B&B!
