We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the junior suite overlooking Girabaldi Square. The building is historic, but the rooms are updated. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Make sure to include breakfast in your stay, the offerings are delicious, varied, and plentiful.

This was a nice hotel. A little dated inside. Friendly staff all around. Nice bar attached. Breakfast looked good. We did not partake. Room was decent. Comfortable bed. Could never get shower temperature above luke warm. Woken up by street party at 2 AM. One(of 2 elevators) was not working. Wi-Fi was good. Was on a nice city square with a Christmas market set up.

I loved this hotel and the staff. The bathroom was big, clean, and well appointed with large sink/counter, large shower, and even slippers. The bed is wonderful - comfortable with very nice bedding. Thank you to Ilaria for helping book our taxi back to the train station. Location is safe with a fun vibe. I regret we will miss the breakfast. Post COVID quality can vary from pre COVID. Not here! Beautiful building with character and elegance.

A wonderful hotel on the main, pedestrian-only square of Sondrio. This is a GRAND hotel indeed. Beautiful, historic building. Our room was perfect. Bed linens were out of this world. Great breakfast. Staff was very helpful. The unexpected bonus is the significant display of early 20th C. sculpture by some of Italy's finest artists. This is a world-class museum collection. Not to be missed.

The grand hotel also has a small cafe outside but protected from weather and wind by glass walls that let you enjoy coffee or beer and other stuff with a view right in the town square. Great service and value.

Stanze essenziali con bagni ampi ed eleganti. Cucina eccellente servita da un personaggio male che definire perfetto e’ forse poco. Provata la costoletta di cervo , la trota salmonata, i classici pizzichi, i dessert. Non saprei a cosa dare la medaglia d’ oro. Prezzo contenuto e decisamente a favore della qualità . La colazione è varia e servita con grande velocità e solita cortesia. Massimo voto

Zimmer und Bad sehr gut, groß. Frühstück ausreichend, für diese Hotelkategorie schwach, wenig Auswahl, selbst, wenn man berücksichtigt, dass man in Italien ist. Kein Wlan im Zimmer, funktionierte trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage an 2 Tagen nicht. sehr zentral, Parkplatz 15€

Veramente un hotel 🔝…a partire dalla reception per finire con le pulizie direi tutto ottimo. Stanze ben tenute, calde ed accoglienti. Personale gentilissimo. Spa piccola ma accogliente. Posizione ottima. Unica pecca forse una colazione un po’ troppo scarna rispetto a tutto il resto. Consigliato.
