Funny Monkeys Homestay

A pure vacation feeling! That is how I would best describe our stay at Funny Monkey's Homestay. The three women running the place did an excellent job and provided us a service worthy of a luxury hotel! The view from the terrace was absolutely fantastic and we spent much time drinking delicious homemade coffee and eating local food. Other amenities on site include kayaks for going out on the river and transfers to the centre of the city. We could also without a problem leave our bags there after check out. Would definitely recommend this homestay for people who want to enjoy some quiet time next to the river!

This is hands down, the best place I've stayed in Vietnam. I've been motorcycling around for a couple weeks and landed here for a couple days. It was incredible. First and foremost, the hot water is hot and long lasting. The place is impeccably clean and the food is good. Its located right on the water, with great views. But that's not the best part. The best part was the staff. The family was incredible. Not only were they attentive and helpful, but they treated me like family. They gave me great insight into vietnemese culture and lifestyles. I got to speak to them and bridge a culture in a way that I have usually been able to. Its not only their good english, but their hearts. They are not pushy, and the prices are more than reasonable. They actually cared and were not just trying to operate a business extracting money. I sincerely dont know what I can say to recommend this place enough. If you dont stay here, you are doing yourself a disservice. They didnt try to sell me an outragous package deal and told me how to explore the caves solo. If I could spend another week here, I would have. I've travelled to a lot of countries, and significnatly within vietnam. This was one of the best experiences i've had in years, across continents. And it was truly the family and staff that made it special. Avail yourself of an opportunity to stay with them, and you will not regret it.

Beautiful location, amazing staff that make you feel so welcome. Breakfast was great and rooms were comfortable and very large. Our hostess Lyn was friendly and considerate and took care of everything. We used the bikes and could ride around town. Waking up to the incredible view every morning was just magic.

Kindest and most helpful staff! We loved our stay here, rooms were spacious and clean with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was brilliant we had 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts here which were excellent. I would love to come back in summer to access the kayaks and bicycles!

A very nice and relaxing stay. We usually venture out for dinners but enjoyed the stay and people so much that we had all our meals there. We showed up at 3:00 in the morning and Moon was there waiting to get us to our room. Looking forward to staying again.
