Cape Vermeer

Stayed at this no.1 Guesthouse in Somerset-West already a couple of times before. From the very 1st warm welcome by Richard we had an amazing time and stay. This time in the “Cape Vermeer suite”. In one word: WOW! What an amazing apartment/room with everything in it you are looking for. Very luxury equipped and large room with a lovely bed, a separate large bathroom with both shower and bath. A private balcony overlooking both Strand and the Hottentot-mountains. Very nice colors used like in the other rooms of this Guesthouse. Love your Lemon Verbena products from Healing Earth, such a fresh smell. It was the TOP location of our holidays in the Cape-region. We loved the breakfast with the short daily printed info (photo) with it. You deserve definitely your 5-star rating. Thank you Richard & Bart for again a wonderful stay at yours. A truly outstanding experience... with the highest attention to detail. Richard and his team were an absolute delight and made our stay a most memorable one. The rooms and gardens are exquisite... the breakfast baskets scrumptious... we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to South Africa. A++

I’m used to travel a lot and this place is special in many ways. Perfect location, great accommodation, best service, friendly staff. And last but not least Richard, the owner, is doing a brilliant job. Helping with best bookings of restaurants and recommendations in every respect ; even with the direction the sun is moving .

We had a lovely stay at Cape Vermeer. Our host Richard welcomed us by arrival and made our stay super comfortable by guiding us, helping us and being available for any kind of questions. The stay was luxurious with a very nice room and excellent breakfast. The location is relaxing in a calm area, close to everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cape Vermeer! From the moment we arrived, Richard made us feel incredibly welcome. He’s so attentive to every detail, always available, and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is even more beautiful than the photos. The location is pure peace, far from the busy city (30-40 minutes driving), in a calm and charming neighborhood. It was truly amazing to stay there. The breakfast was a highlight as well, with so many options that changed daily — everything was fresh and delicious. Patience, Thuli, and Zizi were so kind and attentive, making sure we felt at home every morning. We’ll definitely return and can’t recommend this place enough!

Absoutely Amazing Place - we had a great time in this lovely Place!! Highly recommended! Great breakfast, Great Appartement with a top view and super lovely Team. We will definitely go there next year again! Nothing sle to say than definitely Worth going
