Housed in a former hospital, but extensively restored and transformed to adapt it to the new needs, without distorting or violating its original structure, this hotel is particularly recommended for a few good reasons: it is located on the banks of the Aare and therefore enjoys a beautiful view. on the river; it is also located a stone's throw from the historic center, as well as from a very convenient public parking area and also from the railway station. Spotless rooms, good breakfast, very comfortable beds. However, here are some drawbacks: there is no minibar in the room (only a bottle of water); the shower and toilet, located in a corner behind a glass wall, are not the best of intimacy; in the small internal courtyard, at least as we pass, smokers and smokers rage, I do not know how authorized, spreading their miasma miasma in the stairwell until they reach the top floor ... Better to know then that, if you arrive later at a certain time (20: 30h!), there will be no one to welcome you and to enter you will have to dial a certain code on the door, which you will get by calling a certain number; then, from a kind of letter box, your key will come out and will allow you to reach the deserted reception, where you will find the key to your room.
