This hotel is a 2 star at best. We arrived with a 10 month old baby and a 3 month old baby after 10 hours of travel. On checking in we were screamed at twice in the street by locals to move the car from the street as we unloaded the baby. No help is given in unloading or carrying bags from the car to the lobby or to our room. No help is given on taking bags from the room at the end of the stay. No welcome drink on arrival you are just asked to check yourself in on your phone with an app. That is not a holiday or good service .. that’s do it yourself. 5 days dirty cups were left in the room I had to ask for them to be moved and cleaned. Shower gel was left empty. (Poor quality shower gel and hand wash) no cotton wool to cleanse your face no face cloths either. Breakfast is less than average, no table service, a pretty awful coffee machine and tea served in a mug rather than a pot. Baby high chair was totally unsafe no straps to hold a baby in, and below a hard tiled floor. Unthinkable what could happen. The bar / restaurant is run by an outside company who literally chase you out of the hotel to pay a 20 euro bill when they know you are a hotel resident and the bill could be paid at the end of your stay which is fairly normal practice. It seems as though there is a shortage of money. Towels for the pool they expect you to carry up and down to your room and use for days. When you ask for pool towels they seem inconvenienced. It appears they don’t have enough towels as they were always in the dryer .. you have to wait for them to finish drying, so they clearly don’t have enough. Staff are in the main rude aggressive and defensive when you complain .. they do not want to help or go out of their way for you. I expect a holiday, I want customer service and a smile. Most things can be forgiven if people smile and try to help. A smile was difficult for most of the staff in this place. One lady was very nice, the rest were rude and abrupt. After the first night we wanted to go elsewhere we explained we were not at all happy however the manager said he could not refund us. We had a miserable time in this hotel and at least 4 mornings we went out for breakfast because it just wasn’t a nice enough holiday breakfast experience for us. We also ate out at lunch and dinner. In addition the Bathrooms very dated. Reasons not to choose this hotel.
