This hotel is situated at the quiet end of the bay, with great views although you need to book a sea view room. Rooms comfortable although a tad small, super shower. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. Lots of choice at breakfast with a menu for omelettes and fried ages. Now for the negative part of my review, I would suggest you avoid half board as there are some big additional supplements charged on quite a few dishes on the main course (evening meal). If the food was delicious I would say it was worth it but it was very disappointing, bland with a distinct lack of vegetables. If you choose a main meal/dish with a supplement and you don’t have a starter or a dessert, you still get charged for the supplement. Which in my view is very poor/bad practice. Sad because overall the hotel is very good.

Wonderful two week stay at Pure Salt Port de Sóller. Lovely quiet room overlooking the mountains. Very comfortable bed and amazing shower. Reception and restaurant staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Laura must be given a special mention for her outstanding customer service. She went out of her way to answer our questions about the particular local delicacies that we enjoyed so much and even introduced us to the chef who prepared our favourite dishes to perfection. Thank you, Laura for looking after us so well. We look forward to returning in September.

We were greeted on arrival very effusively by one of the staff, great start, only to realise they were actually greeting a member of staff who was stood behind us. We were ignored. Anyway moving on. We always try to book a similar standard of hotel for this sort of beach type holiday and try to review fairly and objectively ( see my other reviews) but this hotel unfortunately was a little sub par. First of all, however, the location is great and if you book a sea view room it’s a great view and atmosphere. Ideal for slobbing about on the beach then returning to the hotel room for some respite from the sun. Equally, the view from the restaurant equally delightful. We found the pool area ok but as others have mentioned there are quite a few steps. Also if you arrive before 11am you have to get your own cushions for the sun beds as no staff are on duty until 11am.We found the air con good. Ok now some *******. All of these are minor in themselves but these are the things that elevate a hotel experience. The room is quite small but we coped, however, the en-suite area is extremely small compared to any other hotel we’ve experienced. Breakfast is ok but just seems a bit underwhelming. Not a lot of choice of cereals, small pastries cut up smaller, not complete choices sometimes ( no bacon for several days, smoked salmon served twice in 10 days), hot breakfast sometimes lukewarm, self service coffee ( most hotels offer coffee/tea as you arrive at your table). Room cleaning ok but our used glasses were changed only once in 10 days . Some staff were friendlier than others, some seem to be pre occupied. The communal seating area in the lounge is small and not super inviting, but I realise that the size of this area is an issue. No on site parking could be an issue. There is very little public parking , especially as the season increases. There is a car park close by which is 6euros per day, however it’s not huge and I suspect over the coming months it may be difficult to park there. Oh and there were no towels one day but hey these things happen. Sorry to be moany but if some of these were rectified I think we would have given this hotel a higher star rating.

I have never had to write such a poor review. Arrived on Monday 17th June for a 9 day holiday. On arrival at about 1.30pm we were told that our room was not ready (3pm check in), thankfully we were given a glass of Cava and we also purchased a lunch meal. We went back to pick up our room keycards at 3.15pm. We were in room 113. I noticed that there was evidence of previous water ingress in the small toilet. This room was just about adequate and had a stunning view of the bay and mountains. We duly unpacked and hung/ placed our clothing in the wardrobe and cupboard. At 1am we heard dripping coming from the small toilet, on investigation there was water dripping from the extractor fan so we were moved to have some sleep(in our night clothes) to a different room 207. (We were told that something would be done to rectify the issue). This room was less adequate than 113 having far less surface space to place possessions, and it had a smaller balcony. We moved back to 113 on Tuesday 18th at 8am. When we went down to breakfast there was some confusion about which room we were in!! There were some pool towels and “plastic paint style buckets” around the lobby area with a yellow sign. *See photos below. This stayed there for another 7 days although for a couple of days there was a mop bucket catching the drips. On Thursday 20th, a note was pushed under the door asking us to go to reception ASAP, we were TOLD we had to move to 111 (next door) as WE were holding up the re allocation of rooms due to the plumbing issue. RUDE and UNGRAGRACIOUS! We were not offered any help to move. In 4 days we had slept in 3 beds!! To get to the pool you had to ascend about 40 steps, there was a chair lift though we never saw it in action. Not good for those with mobility issues. Half board was misleading as there were some meals with a supplement as part of the A La Carte menu. At breakfast there was no bacon for 5 days, there was no bottled still water at evening meal on one occasion, they ran out of Orange juice during breakfast, and on one day there were no towels available until later that day. The day we went home the lift from reception to the street was out of action. We were not offered any assistance. The few good things, the views were amazing, including from the restaurant. It is well situated in the beautiful location Port de Soller. Some staff were very good. A very disappointing and expensive holiday experience that we will not be returning to.

We are actually staying here at the minute. Never thought I’d write a review while I’m on holiday. Arrived on 14 June for a week . On arrival we were not impressed by our room allocation. We opted for a double room but now know that we were not entitled to a balcony or terrace . The room was dark and dingy looking out onto a shared terrace with no privacy . It was infested with damp beetles and the resident millipede. The room was clean but small and poorly set out for a comfortable week stay . We asked to be moved straight away . The two alternative rooms were no better. One smelling strongly of damp . We opted to stay put for the time being . Day two we were offered another mountain view room this was marginally better for another 150 euros. This room is very small again looking shabby and tired . After another poor night we have asked if there is a chance we could move again but have been told to come back later . There are some good points about this hotel . Its location is beautiful facing the lovely bay . The staff are all really lovely ,polite and hard working. We are now by the pool and the noise from the building work next door is very noticeable today . Would we have come here if we had known ? 💯no ! This holiday cost us just over £2,500 through Jet 2 . I have to say it is such a shame as holidays are precious to us all .

We had a great stay at Hotel Port de Sòller. From the day we arrived we did feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere from the staff at the front desk. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Cleaning of the room was also good and the cleaning staff secured a nice appearance. All in all this is a hotel worth visiting.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Pure Salt Hotel. The view from our sea view room (211) was beautiful and the balcony area was spacious with comfortable seating. The staff were so friendly, especially Patricia in the restaurant, and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet style, or you could pay extra for cooked items, and a good selection of food to choose from. What a view from the breakfast terrace over the bay! The pool area is reached by stone steps and we found there to be plenty of sun beds and shades. All in all, we had a lovely holiday!

Stayed for 4 nights in June. Be careful when booking a sea view room. We were given a ‘ sea view’ which was in fact a side view of the harbour. Construction work taking place nearby so noisy. Great views of cranes! Odd atmosphere at the hotel. Staff seem unhappy and going through the motions. One male on reception combative when we said our room was not a direct sea view on departure. Music played was depressing throughout meal times (we were half board). Not uplifting, Pool area dangerous to navigate as steep steps. With rope hand rails in placed. Not enough sun beds. Area carved into hillside. On a positive the hotel was well maintained and clean. Room was nicely furnished. The public beach was nice and compensated for a poor pool area at Pure Salt.

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely week at the Pure Salt Port de Soller. We have stayed at many hotels worldwide throughout the years and can honestly say that this hotel is way at the top of our list! Our room was pleasant with a great view over the bay and we had plenty of storage space too. We found the rooms to be very calming. The housekeeping was excellent and not intrusive at all and we were left clean towels every day. One morning we left for breakfast and on our return found our room cleaned with the bed made up! That's what we call service. We didn't use the pool area at all. My partner suffers with a bad back and would have found the walk up there too much but there is no problem with the beach on your doorstep! However, we did notice that to hire a sunbed for 2 for a day cost 18 euros. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from but we did find them expensive and prices very much what we would pay here in UK. It can also get very busy with tourists coming in on the tram from Soller and I should imagine that later on in the season it could get too much. Overall though, we both enjoyed our stay here in this lovely hotel - especially the beautiful smell.
