Been here about 5 times over the years. Every time it gets better. I don't think I have ever seen any resort of this size and quality before. Everything you could want for a deluxe Caribbean vacation including foods drinks, room service, included mini bar. Clean, safe, relatively quiet.

The ac stopped working & maintenance couldn’t fix it. We booked several months in advance for a specific part of resort & they moved us to another location on their own; without notice. Very inconvenient!!!! The staff was not very helpful in this situation either, did nothing to try to make the situation better.

The property provided a variety of things to do but mostly at a cost. We found ourselves tired by noon for how much walking was involved.

The hotel and the staff were more than accommodating. We had a minor issue at the beginning of our stay but the staff and management reacted with professionalism, curtesy, and timeliness. They addressed our concerns, they apologized and immediately corrected. This was our 3rd time here and we will definitely be back.

Overall, the entire property is beautiful. The pools are amazing, the beach is wonderful, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The buffet food did at times did fall short, but we always found something we enjoyed and the a la carte

I booked needing a room on ground level because of handicap status. I booked caribe since its location is somewhat centralized. I was told when i arrived they moved me to beach. Beach is farthest away from everything. Also, was forced to stay on 3rd floor that had 36 steps to get too. I just had a partial foot amputation and this was nearly impossible. Food was awful, tokyo and Kyoto are the best restaurants on site. Service was ok. I will never patronize this resort again. RIU for the win. Please take into consideration, Barcelo has been my go to since 2008. Alberto at the entrance needs promoted to manager. He is the only person who cares

Large beautiful property. 5 hotels in one line/row. Several pools and activities for all ages. Buffet food was hit or miss for dinners. Staff at bar were a little rude at times. Our hotel was older but beds were comfortable and it was close to the beach. Beach was swimmable. Rocks in some areas but had areas in the cove with sand only.
