Located on the white sands is a 10 from me. The room was absolutely lovely. The ground spendid jungle. Large pool and plenty of food options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Any issues were rectified promptly. Fantastic hotel.

It was a small property but clean. I personally did not like the fact that there were so many animals loose on the property. They where everywhere by the pool, food, on your balcony, etc

Nice and clean property with friendly staff and good food. Nice beach front with palm trees for shade. Coati's everywhere for those who like wildlife! Evening entertainment was fun. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is serene and quiet (not a party resort) which was great. Its also not a huge resort which is nice. The beach was not usable during our stay due to the Sargassum **** issue (do your research before booking anywhere in Mexico during the summer). We spent all our time in the pool which was great. The only down side to this resort was an issue with service which was not handled well. We booked dinner at one of the restaurants the first night and when we arrived they informed us that its only for their privilege members which we were not. They couldn't tell me why their system let me book it. They offered to seat us in 2 other restaurants but only if we were willing to purchase a $50USD bottle of wine. Aside from this incident which was not great the overall stay was pleasant and I would recommend the resort.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! The grounds were beautifully manicured. Unfortunately, there was a huge influx of red sargassum (seaweed) that they could do nothing about, but they worked sun up to sundown raking it up and disposing of it. The staff was very accommodating. The buffet was really good with lots of choices. The dinner restaurants were top notch. The snack bars and food trucks, and many drink bars were all exceptional. The pools were well maintained and clean. Lots of guest services were available as well. The wildlife at the resort was probably my favorite part!! Monkeys, coaties, birds, iguanas, and even a boa constrictor were all enjoyed! We can’t wait to return!

5/5 – A Heartfelt and Memorable Stay Catalonia Playa Maroma – All Inclusive is a warm and welcoming resort. While it may be smaller in scale compared to some others, the genuine hospitality of the staff makes it stand out in the best way. During our visit, we met another family who was staying for the fifth time—that says a lot about the consistent quality of service and experience. The Kids Club team was a true highlight. They showed real care and kept the children engaged and active in the most thoughtful way. It gave us peace of mind and made the trip even more enjoyable for our entire family. All around, a wonderful and heartfelt experience. We would absolutely return. Thank you!
