1)Starting from Day1,The car parking was on the road 200 meter above resort. There was a guard to look after vehicles, but it was written parking on Owner's risk. 2) It was a rainy day and as mentioned in earlier reviews. The way to Resort was more than 200 meter walk down hill and the way to resort was like a very rough mountain track. Which means once you come down to the resort, it was a very tough call to go back up. Climbing up required at least 3 stoppages for me, though there were 2 midway benches. 3)The Cottage view and cleanliness was worth to praise. 4) But the sports equipment in the resort were very bad condition. All the fountains were full of dirty water and shuttle cocks and ball were soaking in them. 5) In the washroom, the extra soap and shampoo were just small medimix and sunsilk pouches. Whereas I could see a used kasauli hill resort bottle of cream in washroom, but we were not given a new one. 6) Wifi access was provided only on demand , but my phone's data was working faster than the WIFI. 7) Most of the cottages were bearing a room no. with a proper picture. My cottage was neither having the room no. nor any picture. 8) The Food taste and preparation was below average, that was not expected from such a resort. 9) Service was very poor, there was no cup in my cottage and each time I had to get it myself from there kitchen. When it was not provided on call. 9) Concluding all of the above, for me it was 2/5 value for money.

Its good place to stay and relax. Around 5-6 km before from Kasauli and its a tree resort. Food is not that great but staff/service is very good. Lot of activities to enjoy and for kids. Overall we enjoyed out stay there.

The Hotel is situated quite a distance from anywhere. There is no easy access to the hotel unless you have your own mode of transport. From the car parking to the reception is a steep walk, which is only a rough track of about 300 metres. Your luggage would be carried by a porter. The rooms are still a further 150 to 200 metres down ***** a rough pathway which is steep. The rooms were very good and rustic with all amenities. Only problem is that they give only 1 bottle of water per room, irrespective of the number of people. Food is very good. No alcohol is available at all. You need to get your won alcohol It is a nightmare walking to the dining area in the night as it is pitch dark. We preferred to have room service. Food is extremely pricey. I suggest travelers carry at least 4-5 bottles of water as the water is Rs. 75 per bottle. Breakfast is light and refreshing. Not recommended for elderly people and invalids. No facilities for invalids. Becomes very slippery if there has been rain Number of channels is also limited, main being Punjabi & Bollywood. News channels are okay

The location is beautiful. The property is in lap of mother nature. Trees, birds, scenes - green and serene atmosphere all around. A perfect stay away from the hustle bustle of city life. Must visit. More enjoyble with family.

I was there this Diwali with my husband and daughter as we wanted to avoid a smokey Delhi on Diwali. It's a little before kasauli and so we didn't take too long to reach the resort. The day we reached there weren't many people, so we got a secluded room with an absolutely beautiful view. The pine trees were leaning into our balcony. The room was nice and warm, the bathroom was ok, but the balcony took the cake. They have a common dining area with outdoor and indoor seating. They have a small basketball ring, a table tennis board, two bicycles(neither had brakes and no cycling track to ride on), a small gym and a dart board. I was happy that my daughter could indulge in these activities. We also did a short hike to the stream. The food was average with too much cream in the gravy. The staff was courteous and helpful. It's not a 4 or 5 star property, so the facilities were average. However, the view was good and the place was peaceful and calm. It was a good change from the city life and perfect for a two day getaway. We did not feel the need to go to the main town of kasauli while we were there.

After doing my homework on trip advisor I did not expect a splendid resort, but was still disappointed. This property is still evolving. Could not figure out how old or new it is as my room was run down, but new ones were being constructed. One bottle of water complimentary, no coffee /tea maker. This is not a place for mobility impaired persons. WiFi is free and reasonably fast. Breakfast just about average. Dinner was good. I would not recommend this to anyone.

We went on a weekday for 2 nights, 10 people. Took a little while to find since there is a similar resort by the name - Kasauli Resort. We had to call the hotel to figure out the way. Its right in the jungle deep down. Had to park the cars on the main road and walk really down. It was a little scary though but fun. Rooms are quite big nice and posh with good balcony view. We got 4 rooms together and the 5th one a little away. Bathrooms are small and they have no mini fridge to chill the liquor. You can get ice bucket for Rs45. Liked their Indian menu, nicely cooked specially Aloo Paranthe for breakfast and Handi Chicken in Dinner. Chinese is not great at all. One thing which lacks here are mobile network, they are very low & Wifi connection doesn't really catch though the guy at the reception gave us the password but it never connected. Vodafone is still decent.
