The hotel is very noisy outside. You can hear the rumbling of cars outside when you sleep at night. It's impossible to sleep! There are not many places to eat around! There is only a very small supermarket around, and the items are limited.

Very good location.
The service corresponds to the status of the hotel, but still reminds a little of the Soviet Union, who remembers.
There is a large park near the hotel - a great place to relax.
Breakfast - a buffet of Bulgarian cuisine.

The hotel has a wide view, sometimes the breakfast is good and rich, the upper floors can see the city, like the park next to it, it is large and suitable for walking, hiking and running, the big room is nice

Really bad experience. When we arrived the “parking” in front of the hotel was full even tho we had reservation for 14people, they had somekind of a “party” at the 19th floor and when we asked were to park the people at the reception just said “i dont know”. Upon our arival there were 3 people behind the reception one was working and two women were just chatting when we wanted to ask for parking or even when we said hello, they didnt even look at us… that some “welcome”… very rude and unprofessional in my opinion. The other guy was nice enough, he said that he’ll call us when the parking gets empty when the guests from the party leave, long story short, we didnt get the call. When we finally got parking it is 75bgl for 3 nights, so much for “parking included”. To sum up if u want to have pleasent trip to sofia and feel respected enough to at least be greeted upon entering the hotel, maybe chose any other hotel.

Well this was certainly something to remember. Stayed here back in May 2018 for a conference. The hotel is a cold was relic, which I would certainly not book had I had the choice. The lobby is huge and empty, and the rooms spread over numerous floors, sparcely decorated, giving you a cold and dreary feeling. The views over the dark city and sweeping, but the location is not central and did not offer anything to orient yourself. There is a quite good restaurant with local cuisine nearby. Sofia itself is worth a visit, the centre is quite interesting and the immense cathedral extraordinaty - worth a visit for its own shake.
