"Very nice staff and stunning view from the room. The open air hot spring bath inside room was incredible. Good dinner and breakfast. The only point is that the hotel only provide shuttle bus to Sapporo but not to Toya station."
"The most satisfying hotel on this trip, the scenery is picturesque. When you walk out of the room, you will see the beautiful snow scenery. You can enjoy the snow while taking a bath, which is a full life experience. The room is very large, the facilities and items are very complete, and the service attitude is very good. Every staff member always has a smile on his face and is very enthusiastic to help. It is only a five-minute taxi ride from the shore of Lake Toya. The kaiseki dinner is very exquisite, and there is a separate private room for privacy. The pudding delivered every day is very delicious! This time I was able to book Song of Light. My trip to Hokkaido was worthwhile. I really couldn’t get enough of it. I will come again next time!"
"The lobby and public areas of the hotel felt grand and inviting. However, the room type we booked definitely needs renovation – the tatami was soft, and the bathroom was old and stained, so we opted to use the public bath and outdoor onsen instead, which were far superior. Our room did have access to an outdoor garden facing Lake Toya, offering a stunning view, especially with the snow. We had a great time at the indoor arcade. The outdoor open-air onsen was a highlight – one of the best experiences, overlooking the serene lake while snow gently fell. I’d consider staying here again but would choose a different room type next time."

"This is the most satisfying house I have ever lived in Japan. No matter the size, facilities and environment are first class, there is a feeling of being in New Zealand.
Environment: About 2 kilometers from Toya Lake Commercial Street, a little distance walk, very quiet, surrounded by scattered residential rooms. It was a little scared outside the house in the middle of the night.
Service: Wanshi Pavilion takes the key, check out and put the key directly in the villa, check out at 10 o'clock is more troublesome
Facilities: The information shows that it has been open for 23 years, but the facilities inside are obviously not new. Some years, but the maintenance is very good. The things used are very advanced. The sink in the kitchen is particularly good. Microwave oven, oven, tea set tableware induction cooker have everything, especially the whole hot spring, dressing room, There are showers, it feels like a holiday house designed by rich people for themselves, and later sold to Wanshige.
Location: There is a convenience store 5 minutes walk. But if you are not driving, it is not recommended."
"It’s a guest house located next to Lake Toya, but away from the crowd and the hot spots of the lake. The dinner and breakfast are of good choice, well cooked by their local people. We highly recommend it to people of limited budget but expecting good value."
"The room is big and clean, not crowned. Onsen is ok. View from our room can see lake toya. Not too far to go to convenience store and go to see toya illuminium"
"We stayed in a Japanese-style room facing the lake. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, but the furniture is old, just not so used to small toilets. Reception and lobby ambience make you feel great. The breakfast buffet is part of the room package. Food spread is generally good, and seafood is served."
"The host does not speak English and Chinese. He loves cleanliness. He stayed alone and didn't meet. I saw the note printed on the door. The instructions were very clear. Just go to the room table and get the key. Remember to change your shoes upstairs and lift the stairs. You can't wear shoes when you enter the room. After check-in, I have to call the host and send a small gift, thank you. The bathroom door is not very flexible, but it doesn't matter. The host gave the Wanshige soup coupon. It is enough to pay 500 yen. The soup is very good. There is no need to wash it at the host. Experienced the joy of making your bed and staying at a Japanese homestay! (Tips for Chinese tourists, the homeowner emphasizes that garbage should be sorted, if not, he will bring it to 711 and lose it). In short, I am quite satisfied! Also supplemented the knowledge of tatami. The front desk is on the left door, check in to see if there is your name on several doors. In addition, it is recommended that the gray kerosene heater on the right hand be collected, and the new white one in the corner is fine, otherwise you will really smell the kerosene, and it also wrote a reminder for ventilation at least 2 times in an hour. The white is the new one. There is no problem. In short, a very good homestay experience, thank you host."
"The hotel is mainly for hot springs♨️, there are no other facilities to speak of. The room settings are mainly traditional Japanese design, and the bathroom in the room is very small. The hotel lobby provides alcohol, food and snacks, which is considerate😘; the hotel staff are very friendly and assist guests👍🏻; you can walk to a convenience store in about 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is close to Lake Toya, and it is very leisurely to take a walk by the lake."
