The addition on the back of the Cottage is a large living room with vaulted ceiling, two sleeper sofas, a sliding door leading to the back deck, and a spiral staircase leading to a sleeping loft. The Cottage is located on Sawmill Lane, just off Heister Valley Rd, along Shade Mountain. It is a ten minute drive to Susquehanna University, 40 minutes to Bucknell University, 10 minutes to Shade Mountain Golf Course, 78 minutes to Penn State University, and just 5 minutes from thousands of acres of state forest land. The Cottage is situated on 150 acres of woodland, ideal for hiking, exploring and cross-country skiing. You’ll find a stream for wading, a firepit with firewood provided, a gas grill and abundant wildlife. The Cottage sleeps 6 comfortably.
