There are no other hotels within 20 miles of the Summit. The staff could hardly speak any English and actually was unable understand many of the questions we asked about services and local venues and other very basic questions. It is an older establishment and is frequented by hikers, bikers, truckers and skiers during snow season.

Its really quaint felt like a proper inn and apparently it a place to mail supplies to hikers along the trail which is really cool

Good for what you pay for.
It worked for what we paid for. I would say everything was okay. Not bad but not perfect. Like I said you get what you pay for. Room was clean, restaurant attached was okay, everything is just a bit outdated. Pool closed, bar closed (where the advertised pool table is).

Good stay, great location
Hotel is in a great location with multiple restaurants, a brewery, grocery stores, and a coffee stand within a block radius.
Beds are comfortable, clean sheets, good quality towels.
The hotel has a homey lodge style, but is very clean.
The pancake restaurant has friendly and quick staff with good food.

I was nervous at first to stay at the Summit Inn due to the reviews but glad I took a chance. Staff was courteous and hotel was clean. I would suggest bringing your own pillow because ours were too small and flat. Also hottub was likewarm. Restaurant attached had amazing food and staff!

Restaurant on site was very convenient
Proximity to marathon race start fabulous
Our room did not have AC! It was 80 degrees and the fan wasn’t keeping us cool. The staff offered to change our room as they said they couldn’t bring an ac unit in. This was not an option as I had just finished running for almost 5 hr. I was not happy with them for this and thought they should have made some kind of financial amends for our discomfort.

The hotel and restaurant are very old. The air conditioning and heating is terrible when we arrived around 4 PM our room wasn’t ready. The property around the hotel and restaurant needs to be repaved. We will never stay at this property again. What’s going on? What’s going on Suzie? What’s going on?
