Wij hebben een viertal nachten in het Amicitia doorgebracht. De kamers waren schoon en netjes. De grote plus van dit hotel is het personeel. Zo vriendelijk, zo behulpzaam, zo'n goede uitstraling. Voor een bezoekje aan Sneek en omgeving is dit een ideale locatie.

Bovenaan staat de bediening van de 2 jongedames Sara en Katrien van het Restaurant: ze zijn zeer betrokken bij hun gasten. Toppers! Het ontbijt is ook prima. De dames en heer van de Receptie alle lof voor hun klantvriendelijkheid. Goede ligging van het hotel naar Sneek of de regio. Een aanrader!

Het hotel heeft 4 sterren op de gevel staan, maar is het zeker niet waard. 2 komt eerst. De kamer is gedateerd en heeft geen klimaatregeling. We waren er niet eens op hele warme dagen, maar de temperatuur op de kamer op de 3e verdieping was alles behalve aangenaam (te warm). Dit werd opgelost door een tafelventilator. We hebben deze zelf op een vuilnisbakje 's nachts voor het open raam gezet om de koelte van de nacht naar binnen te trekken. Dat werkte in ieder geval wel. Het ontbijt was eenvoudigweg beneden peil. voor € 13,- pp was het niet meer dan een broodje ham of kaas, scambled eggs uit een pak en aangelengd sinaasappelconcentraat. Dit hebben bij het uitchecken ook teruggekoppeld. Al met al teleurstellend.
