You'd get what you've paid for. £19 for a single ensuite room worked well for me. Flight was delayed anyway and I've arrived after 1am (stayed just fir a night). It was very basic, but you will get a good sleep in clean space, with towels and some toiletries included. Sure they also offer better rooms (balcony, etc). There's a wee bar downstairs next to reception. Location very central (ferries to Valleta just across the road). Restaurants and bars nearby, also a wee 24/7 shop just a few yards away.

Excellent service, good location but the fact that there is no mini fridge in the room on a summer night is very bad.

Very cozy guesthouse that focus greatly on the customer experience. Yasser & Mila were gems that guaranteed us an excellent stay from breakfast till recommendations regarding activities! The guesthouse is well located close to restaurants and bus stop to explore the rest of the island. My partner and I definetely recommend to stay at The Maltese Sun once you're in Malta!

Hotel with good potential given the location and the rooms. Unfortunately on the first day we couldn't take a shower because brown water came out. We had a problem with the pipes, a pet attendant arrived to let the water out but after hours with the tap open they had only wasted a lot of water without solving the problem. At night and early in the morning I was woken up by the strong smell of cooking which probably came from the air conditioner. Nauseating smell! This problem has also not been resolved. When asking for help at reception they said there was nothing they could do! Sin

Excellent value for money with breakfast included, outdoor swimming pool 5 minutes walk away, ferry to Valletta right opposite, super convenient! Super friendly staff at the buffet and reception, as well as the cleaning team. The only downside is the poor insulation: you hear every door slam as soon as someone leaves. But overall I am very happy with this hotel.

The room is bigger than expected and very clean. The only fly in the ointment is that I wish the lights could be brighter. The staff are also very enthusiastic and gave a lot of travel suggestions. Recommend to everyone!

Considering the price of the room it is an excellent solution

The Hotel was clean, unfortunately my room was very noisy as it was off the kitchen all I could hear was banging doors all morning, people talking & stomping around, there is also construction going on in neighbouring buildings. my bed was uncomfortable I could feel the springs in my back so had a pretty terrible sleep, this place needs some updating & modernising. The location was great walking distance to everything.

Hotel location is good, economical and practical hotel, the hotel is not far from the ramp up there is a supermarket, down is the bus station, go to Valletta to cross the road by bus 13.13A, go to Gozo and comino Island is but the bus stop on the road is 222, but the distance is a bit far, it takes 1 hour, After getting off at the end, you can go to gozo Island for a cruise. You can buy a ferry ticket for the return trip. You can also go to the small pavilion on the right side of the road. You can go to comino and then go to Gozo's speedboat.
