Alborada Apart Hotel

4th time here. A wonderful stay .We will always return here as its an excellent value, well equipped , spacious and clean self catering base in the best location for enjoying Sliema and maltese life. The staff are always ready to fix any faults. We really enjoy the quiet rooms with kitchenette,eating area, comfortable beds,football on the TV and hot showers . Yes the rooms aren't luxurious but the price reflects this and they are perfect for our needs. Research avoids disappointment .

I am here now and it's my 3rd stay here. I've also stayed in many hotels around the island. I return here because of the location, the price and the kitchenette as it makes a very cheap self-catering holiday. I am sick of reading moans about " no bidet" " no phone" blah blah. You get what you pay for. Don't pay peanuts for a large ,ideally located,essentially equipped studio room and then moan about basic bedding and furniture. I have always found my stay of 3 weeks or more to be quiet and comfortable. Yes I need to buy plug in insect repellant and spray but that is no different even when I've stayed in more expensive malta hotels. Yes there is only a sheet and a cover, with blankets in the wardrobe but I find it adequate for a good nights sleep in a hot country. Yes there is only housekeeping every few days but I personally don't want to be intruded on every day when self-catering. Instead of moaning about there only being one cup etc in a review, why not go and ask them for another one. The staff have always been nice to us. You get rude staff at every malta hotel it's part of the fun. I will definitely return again when on a budget.

the only thing that is good about this hotel is the location, you can barely see the staff. And it definitely urgently needs a complete renovation, some things are even dangerous. Don’t go there…………..
