Amazing hotel! Found The Londoner as part of a package through *******, and the pictures do not do the hotel justice! Massive room and a huge, comfy bed (I’m 6’3 and could lay sideways on it), with a great view overlooking the bay. Fantastic being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy a coffee watching the sun come up over Valetta just over the water. Staff was friendly and attentive, and provided excellent recommendations for what to see and do. Plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus and ferry stops directly over the road, so easy to get anywhere in Malta! Breakfast had plenty of options and there wasn’t a limit on what we could have. The Londoner in Sliema is a hidden gem, and I would recommend it to anyone! The receptionist from Serbia (Sema?) was fantastic and gave great tips for the area!

I paid approx. £250 for 3 nights at the hotel in February including a continental breakfast. The room I booked was sea facing with a balcony. I arrived at 8 pm and immediately noticed that the hotel (which is on the main strand) is surrounded by a street full of bars. Due to this the area is very lively and noisy. I had a room on the 8 floor - directly above the hotel bar however if I kept the balcony doors shut you couldn’t hear a thing. So top tip if you book the hotel request a high floor. The breakfast had a good selection however the hot plate which contained bacon, eggs etc was cold on all 3 mornings I visited. Apart for that you were able to get enough to eat to fill yourself up. Cakes, meat, cereal, toast etc. The hotel is centrally located and a great place to explore from however didn’t have any other amenities. The room - it was large with a huge double bed and the bathroom was modern. The only issue with the room was the air conditioning. The lowest it was go was 16 degrees. This was ok for me as I visited in Feb however I can imagine in the summer this may not be cool enough. Getting to the hotel I booked a taxi transfer from the airport which was £22. Retuning to the airport I booked an UBER which was €13! You can get a bus which is €3 each and the nearest bus stop from the hotel is approx. 400m In summary: if I visited MALTA again would I use this hotel? The answer would be yes. Good value and centrally located. Any issues were minor.

I enjoyed a perfectly comfortable stay here for three nights. I was here for work so wasn’t too bothered which room I had but if you’re on holiday, I’d recommend a harbour view room. The rooms at the back are completely built in (logically) so your view is walls and laundry. Quiet though! Breakfast was not quite to standard perhaps. You had to leave the building and have breakfast in a nearby pub (smelled clean, no spilled beer smell). Doable but very basic selection.

If you are a disabled person please don’t arrive early !! There’s literally nowhere decent to wait for your room to be ready !! I will update once I’ve had a chance to experience more ! I attempted to move my booking to a more expensive date as I had been called for a long awaited surgery. I was told in no uncertain terms that I could not move the date ( via *******) I don’t understand why a business would refuse another £350 but hey, they obviously don’t need the additional revenue, or the positive reviews !

Just returned from a 5 night stay and it was pretty good and relaxing. Location is perfect, a stones throw away from the Sliema Ferries stop. You can get to Valletta in 10 mins. You are right on the harbour with tons and tons of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc you will not go hungry there! Also, Tigne Point shopping centre is a short walk away. Local buses also stop nearby. We stayed in the exec sea view room (14 floor) and the views from the room is amazing. The room itself was modern, clean, spacious, and the bathroom was nice. Only complaints would be the shower did not have a door so water went everywhere when you had a shower and the sink area did not have any space to put toiletries which wasn’t great. The bed was big but the pillows were not the best to sleep on. Breakfast was basic but it had enough to get you through the day and the staff at both the hotel and breakfast were friendly and nice. If you wish for a proper tea/coffee I’d recommend you go out for this as there are a lot of places to eat and drink nearby. The pub joined to the hotel was always busy and lively however it was not too loud and on the higher floors I’m sure you will not hear much noise. Overall i would recommend the hotel. Well kept and lots to see in the local area. P.S: Make sure to check out Jeff’s Pastizzeria if you are in the area for an extremely cheap pie or pasty.

Before I made booking. I called hotel to ask about parking told me there was they had parking. What they didn’t tell you is only one of there places has parking. I’m sorry 170 a night I should be able to park at hotel not carry 3 suitcases blocks away. Also was told hot tub and pool. I purposely looked for hot tub I have bad knee. Then our tv on the first night stop working few hours that we were there. Which we really wanted to relax after long travel and watch tv. They told us No maintenance on duty this is at 7 pm. I mean come on! hotel at 170 a night and you have no maintenance. Then instant coffee in rooms not pods. Never again. But room was clean if that’s all you’re looking for!
