Anamar Skiathos Hotel

Whilst the place looked lovely as we drove up, the room and surroundings were anything but (see attached photos which speak for themselves). The man that greeted us was terse and unwelcoming, hotel was empty other than 1 greek man we saw in passing just before leaving to move hotels, which given it was June speaks for itself. The room was in the basement (which we had known) but next to some toilets and stank of urine and damp and must. We requested a move immediately. Please note there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance - we'd ran out of water whilst waiting to be moved. Also, the town is much more of a walk (and up and down) than advertised, unless very fit i would strongly recommend hiring a car/moped. Only positive was women on reception when we left who was very apologetic, got us water and juice and arranged our taxi to move hotels.

We had a marvelous stay at this amazing establishment! Wonderful service, amazing staff, friendly and courteous, ready to help you with anything you may need! If you need a place to unwind, this is definitely the place you are looking for!

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at this hotel! It is a beautiful, small, cozy and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff!! The cleaning ladies do a fantastic job! We felt very welcomed!! Very good breakfast

We stayed for 6 nights and had a very nice stay! Super welcoming and helpul staff!! The room was fantastic value, clean and had everything we needed with nice view!! The location was quiet and relaxing!!

The hotel was great and I would definitely recommend it!! Book this hotel if you want peace and relaxation! The staff was kind, polite and very helpful and we sure hope they will be around the next time we come to Anamar!! We stayed for 10 days.

Easy to reach from the airport, even walking. Owner very polite and serene even when very busy

First of all.... I pay 120 eur... The hotel is rated 3 stars... On internet site I read "hotel completely renoved 2023"... The girl on reception is nice, friendly, extremely beautiful, and kindly help me to find excursions for the afternoon and take my baggage in a store room.. The hotel is in a good position, close to the center, even if at 100 Mt from the airport, but it is silencious and relaxing... But, terrible things: rooms and public spaces are too old, not renoved!! In my room toilet water doesn't work, so, when I poop, I can't trow the toilet paper down the toilet but I have to collect it in a bag, and in the bathroom and in the room there are bad smell... Room is really dirty, I don't know why so dirty with fingerprints and staines everywhere. Breakfast: little little little choice, coffee machine doesn't work.. At the end, my room, paid in advance, turns out not to be paid until, in the evening, they fix the situation. So, I think at least they should have given me a large discount for all these inconveniences, or let me have another room.. The next night I stayed in another hotel..

Nice place to stay with the best person to receive the guests ever! Joanna was very gentle and caring! She made the difference in our stay! Nice rooms and great pool! The breakfast was well served!!!
