This hotel is very unique and has a special feel about it. We were met warmly on arrival and we found the experience with the staff throughout our stay to be consistently of a high standard. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the river, which was loud but not at all intrusive. The facilities are simple, given the location, but everything was functional and the spa facilities looked fantastic (unfortunately we didn't have enough time to try them). We loved the restaurant, which offers a variety of local foods, and the service was quick and without issue. The breakfast in the restaurant was a simple affair, but it was tasty and provided enough to satisfy us for the morning. We enjoyed the location and the surroundings of the hotel, with walking tracks and nature to be found in every direction.

Beautifully located hotel with a beautiful view of a waterfall. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the staff was also very friendly The hotel is beautifully centrally located, so you can make great day trips to Lom or Briksdalbreen, for example Highly recommended

It is a rustic hotel, which is very nice in this gorgeous nature place. Room amenities are minimal, but it was clean and the bedding very comfortable. The price was great, and the food and service excellent. My morning walk was jaw-dropping beautiful. The aqua waterfall rapids, evergreens, snow capped mountain in the distance-just everything-was beautifully refreshing and satisfying. Other reviews spoke of poor ownership & staff. There are new owners as of around May 2022, and they are wonderful young men trying to create a new experience and expand on the offerings. Look for more available activities in the near future! I am very happy with my stay there, and encourage you to try it out.

We were in Norway for more than 1 week, of which 6 days in this very hospitable and authentic Norwegian hotel. We had devised this hotel as a starting point for many trips and this was more than successful. Very hospitable new owners, wonderful new beds, a fantastic hot tub and good food. From the hotel you are directly in the beautiful nature at a beautiful waterfall. The trees behind the hotel were partly cut down when we were there, which made the view from the hotel even more beautiful. This hotel is highly recommended from all points of view for exploring the area.

We happened to pass by and were immediately impressed by the atmosphere in the hotel. The new owners are welcoming and very nice. After a delicious cup of coffee we decided to stay overnight. The food was fine and the room well maintained. Guys, good luck with Pollfoss!

Das Pollfoss Hotel inmitten der Natur gelegen, hat mich mit seiner stilvollen Einrichtung und der herzlichen, persönlichen Atmosphäre sofort begeistert. Das Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr lecker, qualitativ hochwertig und mit Liebe zubereitet. Kleiner Tipp: bei Sonnenschein das Abendessen auf der Terrasse genießen mit Blick auf den reißenden Fluss. Der Spa-Bereich ist inklusive, sehr hochwertig und stilecht, lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders positiv überrascht hat mich die kleine Geste, auch Conditioner im Bad bereitzustellen – ein Detail, das zeigt, wie aufmerksam hier an Alles gedacht wird. Das freundliche Personal, bestehend aus einem jungen, frischen Team, rundet den Aufenthalt perfekt ab. Ich komme gerne wieder!

In de hottub in de sneeuw naast de waterval. Wat een unieke ervaring! We waren 1 week te gast bij de nieuwe eigenaren en zijn super verwend. Zo gastvrij en vriendelijk. Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Alles keurig schoon. Wij komen terug!!!

Hotel a conduzione famigliare in una bella posizione con un le cascate a due passi raggiungibili a piedi in 3 minuti. Le camere sono piccole e forse poco confortevoli soprattutto quelle nell'ala interna, oltretutto sono raggiungibili solo a piedi senza ascensore e con le valigie non è proprio facile. La cena e la colazione sono nella media. Ricordatevi di accendere il termosifone in camera perchè altrimenti è freddino anche in agosto. caratteristico il portachiavi delle stanze in legno, un pò ingombrante ma tipico. Personale giovane e un pò riservato. Il wi-fi nelle stanze dell'ala interna in camera funziona male occorre andare in reception per avere una buona connessione.

Viaggio di gruppo organizzato, bella posizione dell hotel trai boschi , ma le camere erano piccole e molto sobrie , non riscaldate, la giornata era umida e fredda .Ci vuole un po' di spirito di adattamento per soggiornare in questo hotel, se prediligete un buon livello di confort che invece abbiamo trovato in altri hotel .Per me l'esperienza è stata cosi forse perché come gruppo turistico ci hanno relegato in un settore di standard inferiore.
