Villa Christina what can we say!, we stayed here last June 2023 for one week, my good lady wife and I and what an amazing week we had but just wasn’t long enough, and so booked again but this time for 2 weeks June/July 2024. After a fantastic Flight in from Manchester and the exciting landing into Skiathos JSI we were collected in the minibus and driven up our favourite road leading to Villa Cristina, where we received the most lovely welcome from Miltos, Elena, Dio & the rest of the Villa Christina family, we were even honoured to meet the family Mum this time and she was lovely too. This beautiful home is a true diamond, stunning well-kept grounds, lawns & gardens, immaculate pool area & bar where the wonderful Dio & Miltos are on hand to serve up your favourite refreshing drinks (ours is the Iced Mythos hmm) and the superb restaurant where the lovely Elena prepares home cooked delights served freshly on a daily basis, her food is gorgeous!. We always stay in the same room as we love it and has everything that you require for self-catering but no need to be cooking in 38 degrees every day when there are lovely snacks and home cooked meals available all day pool side 😊. The rooms are cleaned daily by the fantastic and polite house-keeping staff, left in immaculate condition daily THANK YOU. The Villa is set in a beautiful location surrounded by pine forests and walks. The little walk down the road to the bus stop is lovely offering superb view points for pictures and a beer break, the bus stop offers busses daily that will take you to Skiathos and anywhere else that you fancy an adventure to, there is a bus stop opposite this one too which will take you the opposite way around the island, easy to use, cheap and great fun albeit they can get busy. There are two main shops close enough to Villa Christina, one opposite the bus stop and one down the road towards kanapitsa beach and both offer everything that you may need. Skiathos town is brilliant and offers plenty of shops, restaurants, boat trips and more importantly culture. My wife and I are out most days until late as we love to adventure and the location of Villa Christina is perfect as there are at least 5 beaches nearby and you always have the option to rent a car or quad bike but we love getting out on foot, taking care for the huge black ants the size of chihuahuas lol ! – Dropping the towels down on the sand for a few hours, swimming in the beautiful calm sea, maybe an Ouzo at the beach bars then adventuring a little further, the Sunset at Vromolimnos beach is amazing too then a steady walk up the pine path back to Villa Christina for a Mythos or Ouzo or three and a chat with the family 😊 then settle on the balcony listening to the owls and watching the stars with a glass of wine!. We love this place, it’s a beautiful Gem run by lovely people and kept beautiful through their hard work, THANK YOU all, catch up next June 2025 – Dan & Lisa XXXXX Yamas!

We were met by Elena as it seems most people are on arrival and she was pleasant and joking and showed the new arrivals to their rooms , unfortunately as the days went on her tone turned quite abrupt and the original happy welcome seemed quite stage managed . Villa Christina is in a pretty location but be under no illusions the hill is 150 yards off a mile , going down is fine it takes a good 20 mins , going back up is a steady climb to start with but gets steeper further up , you will need plenty of get your breath stops , and unless you are a Olympian you will not do it in less than 30 mins .In reality you need transport, the supermarket is on the main road and you will struggle to bring any shopping up by hand .We didn't eat much at the apartments but the carbonara was delicious the one night we did . Our apartment was acceptable but needs a serious update especially the bathroom, on the last day I found one of the apartments advertised on their website , I felt like I was on bullseye and shown " this is what you could have won " hopefully the one we stayed in will one day be up to that standard . All in all a nice quiet base to stay in , but we did feel because we didn't really spend too much money there we were shunned by the staff , we were not alone thinking this . We love Skiathos but sadly won't be returning to Villa Christina, the location is too remote and you will definitely have to factor in transport to get to it , which can push up the price of your holiday , there are friendlier places closer to the bus stops .

Hi all, our second visit to Villa Cristina as came for the week in 2023/June but simply wasn’t enough so came back this June/July 2024 for two weeks, what a wonderful welcome back too from Miltos, Elena, Dio, Cristina and the rest of the fantastic staff at Cristina, and this time privileged to meet Mum who is beautiful ❤️. This place is wonderful, the island itself has amazing walks, beaches, places to eat and more importantly Greek people who we find truly lovely ❤️. The grounds of Cristina are immaculate, pool spotlessly clean and beautifully positioned alongside the bar & restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful home cooked food by the lovely Elena in the wonderful surroundings of this forest gem, Miltos & Dio always ready to serve up fresh ice cold Mythos or anything you like from the fantastic poolside bar, music played throughout the day at a relaxing chilled out volume accompanied by great sociable staff. The room is our little hidden getaway and we adore it thanks Miltos ❤️☀️, sitting on our terrace listening to the Greek Owls moving through the forest, people laughing & having fun at the bar & restaurant and the sounds of the family owners busying themselves in their home, we just love it, the house keeping staff are AMAZING & friendly and clean the rooms daily to a very high standard THANK YOU, beaches so close, shops (not lots) but plenty for essentials, the bus service is fab and we love it, can get busy but no journey on this little island is too far so it’s fine, Skiathos town is a busy little one and full of culture, food, shops and life experiences, the live Greek music at the square in the town is amazing, beautiful harbour, airport runway taverna and sea side restaurants are in abundance. Villa Cristina is one that we wanted to keep our little secret but we have to review, Miltos & family including ALL staff THANK YOU & see you June 2025 we love you all ❤️❤️🏝️ Dan & Lisa xxxx

Spent a week in July with my 2 adult daughters. The hotel is lovely very small and peaceful with a gorgeous warm pool set in well kept gardens and surrounded by pine clad hills. There is a great bar and food is served throughout the day by the pool. Menu is limited but good, home cooked to order by the fabulous Elena! We were greeted at the gate and shown to our room where everything was explained to us. The room itself was basic but very clean. We had a suite which had a double bedroom bathroom and a separate lounge area with sofa bed and camp bed. Unfortunately the lounge had no air con or windows so was too hot to sleep in. Consequently we had to move the camp bed into the bedroom where the air conditioning unit was and all 3 of us had to share room , bit cramped but we managed not a problem for us but maybe an issue for other parties of 3 or more? Villa Christina is quite isolated, about 15 minute walk down hill to main road, bus stop and a few restaurants and supermarket. The walk down is very pleasant but not so good back up in the heat. The walk down to the beach is not far but the path is very steep and rough and frankly not worth it as very small crowded and noisy. In the evening we walked down and got bus to Skiathos town which is very pretty , interesting and busy, then got taxi back. Second half of week we hired car and explored this beautiful island and gorgeous beaches We had a fantastic week here and would thoroughly recommend if you want peace and quiet but definitely not for anyone wanting anything lively or those who have difficulty walking.

Arrived home yesterday from a 7 night stay, Beautiful friendly place, Pillows and bed a bit hard but we soon got used to them. Rooms could do with a bit of a refurb but it was perfect for what we wanted. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day. We had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend. Travelling by bus is very easy but quite a hike up to Villa Christina. We hired a car from Mike at Tourismatic which was perfect for us and very reasonable. Beautiful quiet beaches off the beaten track which the buses do not reach.

Just got back from a week in lovely Skiathos. Our stay at Villa Christina was excellent, met on arrival by Helena who showed us to our room. Air conditioning was free, room clean and cleaned every day, everything worked as it should. Bar staff can't do enough for you and the prices good, portion sizes large too. Very peaceful location, other people complain it is at the top of a hill and a long walk from the main road, it's a 10 minute walk get over it!! We walked up and down every day and it seriously is not an issue. If you want to hire a car Helena will sort for you. Negative points , none. Would I come here again, yes absolutely.

Lovely hotel, photos do not do this place justice. Rooms are spacious and clean but although the shower is amazing it doesn't drain very well and floods the floor. We did report it and it was looked at but still flooded. That is the only thing. The hotel complex is stunning. The pool is gorgeous and has a gentle slope to each depth which is good for me because I am not confident in the water. The food is home cooked by Helena and I can recommend the Spaghetti Funghi..delicious Oh and the vegetarian pizza Yum! The barman is lovely and there most of the time. He is very helpful, polite and humorous. Be warned, there are some steep hills, especially near Diamanté Beach. Which is stunning and a must visit. All in all a lovely place to stay. Bus stop 15. Buses into Dkiathos town from here are €2 each. A taxi home is between €15 and €18 but is not more money after midnight. A lovely hotel. Would definitely co.e again. Relaxing music by pool. No boom boom boom!
