Hotel Punta

Hotel Punta was exactly what we needed for a quiet, relaxing break, only 10 minutes from the airport and town yet very remote and relaxed. It’s a fairly small, clean hotel with warm, friendly staff from the receptionists to the cleaners, and all staff in the restaurant. Fotis at the bar is a real asset, making us great cocktails and remembering our names from day one. The pool has amazing views over the town and port, and the small private beach is a nice break from the busy beaches on the island. The breakfast was tasty, dinner always had good options, the bar at night was lively but relaxed, and we loved the Greek music and dancing on the Wednesday night. Wi-Fi in the room was a bit patchy, but everything else was perfect. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Vivian on reception is one of the nicest ladies and so very helpful from the moment we checked in to the moment she hugged us as we left always so friendly and helpful. Fortis, Visilis & Zoe are also a credit to this hotel always happy to help with anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are practical, plenty big enough, with amazing views….cleaned by a lovely lady every single day…..and if I had anything to pick fault with it would be the lack of a kettle but this was simple to solve, just ask Vivian who had one behind the reception for us. The small beach was lovely no problems with finding it and was clean tidy…. Very steep walk back up the hill but just take your time and a drink. I have travelled all over Greece and this has to go down as one of my top hotels…. Traditional food which was very tasty, served fresh and different every evening. The Greek salad was amazing at lunch time and was so big it filled me until dinner. No worries about sunbeds and the pool Is very clean and in good condition. Shuttle bus to the town is excellent, book in advance as it is popular, we also hired a car via Vivian and this was very affordable and delivered to us at the hotel within 30mins. We spent 10 nights here this month. What a pleasure it was. The hotel is spotless, the staff couldn’t do enough for us Inc Vivienne, Helen, Vasilios, Rami and Joseph. The room was kept very clean and comfortable. The location is to die for, the views across the bay are great. There’s a courtesy bus 3 times a day into town and back. No charge for the safe or pool towels, just a refundable deposit required. Yes there a couple of cons, as older guests it would be nice to have a handle to assist getting and out of the bath/shower. As would would having a drawer in the room. We’ve been 4 times to Skiathos and this is our favourite.

Fantastic hotel absolutely spotless beds and pillows veery comfortable rooms are a good size , breakfast and evening meal very good and all the staff are so polite and helpful always plenty of sunbeds pool area is stunning wonderful views also food at the bar was very good especially the pizzas . What a wonderful holiday our family had thankyou from our family to the hotel punta family ...Fantastic x

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions in the past few years. It was clear on this occasion that a change of management had taken place since our last visit in Sept 2024. However in order for accommodation to meet our dates, we had to book into the superior rooms which carried an increase in room rate. The room was excellent, but so were the standard rooms we had stayed in previous years. The only differences we could ascertain were a walk in shower, bath robes, kettle, 2 cups and 5 sachets of herbal tea, which we never used. We found it hard to justify the difference in rate because the standard rooms are of such high standards anyway. The staff have been the friendliest ever, from the receptionist to the restaurant staff to the cleaners, first class as far as we’re concerned, and a credit to the hotel. The pool, the beach - 4.5 minute walk- we are sad, we timed it, are excellent as others have already said. Sincere compliments to Chef and the kitchen staff for the food, which was varied daily, freshly prepared and delicious. The cleaners work hard and do a tremendous job, rooms were spotlessly cleaned daily. We stayed at the same time as the review complaint. We witnessed your overall behaviour towards the staff and your state of self entitlement. Other guests were fed up of your crass behaviour and we were glad to see the back of you. The hotel is a perfect setting if you want to relax completely in wonderful surroundings, wonderful views, with attentive staff, delicious food and comfortable rooms.
