Hotel Punta

Excellent small hotel over looking the bay. Fantastic views over skiathos Town. Not over crowded, food good and friendly staff. The only thing lacking was more greek music. We are going back next year.

We spent 10 nights here this month. What a pleasure it was. The hotel is spotless, the staff couldn’t do enough for us Inc Vivienne, Helen, Vasilios, Rami and Joseph. The room was kept very clean and comfortable. The location is to die for, the views across the bay are great. There’s a courtesy bus 3 times a day into town and back. No charge for the safe or pool towels, just a refundable deposit required. Yes there a couple of cons, as older guests it would be nice to have a handle to assist getting and out of the bath/shower. As would would having a drawer in the room. We’ve been 4 times to Skiathos and this is our favourite.

This beautiful hotel is in a peaceful place which has the best views over the water to Skiathos town. It is out of the way but it isn't an issue as the hotel has free shuttle buses a few times everyday. We hired a moped. Skiathos is easy to get about as there is regular buses that stop at nearly all the beaches which goes from the port. Reception ladies were really helpful, professional & friendly. The pool area was a nice space, not over crowded & no fight for sunbeds. There could be a few more umbrellas to give shade when needed. Our room was lovely & clean with good views. The bed & pillows were so comfy. The food for breakfast was nice but would've been nice if you could request a bit of scrambled egg or a poached egg. Bar food especially the club sandwich was very nice & bar staff friendly. For dinner we only went once, but the food was good choices & nice. We went out every night as personal choice as we like to go to different traditional Greek restaurants with Greek atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We loved our stay at this hotel & if we visited Skiathos again we would definitely go back to this hotel as it's a perfect place for us

Cleanlinest 5 Star Food 5 Star - no junk food Accomodation 5 Star Staff 5 Star Management 5 Star Well run hotel, Dimitri you have an amazing team. You all care about your guests I would give 5 Plus if I could, Dont be put off by the location. Without location you would not have such an amazing view. We walked to Town many times.But got courtesy bus back. 10.30 bus down, gets you to the bus station. Many beaches to visit. I have no complaints at all.

This hotel is amazing, new owners and new management with a fantastic team to support them, Straight away you are greeted by Vivian and Eleni who will do everything to make your stay pleasurable. The other reviews cover all other questions and you can totally dismiss those from last year!. If you are going here you will be treated incredibly well, with professionalism and a smile. Every review you will read this year are honest and simply describe a beautiful place. My wife and I have never been to the same hotel twice, however this holiday was so amazing we have literally ( this morning , a week after returning ) booked and paid for this hotel the exact same dates for 2026. Well done to the new owner and manager for giving this hotel a new life, well done to all the staff who work tirelessly to make your stay great. You are going to love this place.

I am writing this sat waiting to very sadly leave this wonderful hotel! My sister and I have had the best week at the Punta, for the value and everything else I can only rate it excellent! Food was fantastic we were so happy for it and looked forward to the evening meal every night, really fresh Greek food and so tasty, a full salad bar and desserts as well as all hot options/soup changed every night etc. The evening meal was served 8-10pm but we found this worked for us getting back off trips and it not being too hot to eat. Breakfast was also good and fresh everyday, omelettes were so tasty every morning! And was served same 8-10am. If we wanted food mid afternoon on chill days the pool bar serves great food too at a really reasonable price, pizza and club sandwich was fantastic, drinks prices also really reasonable too €5 glass of wine and €10 aperol spritz did us well! You can also buy water here for 60c a bottle. The staff are all so so lovely and friendly, really polite and would help us with anything. The ladies on the front desk particularly were so kind and helped us get taxis multiple times into town which are €10/€12 depending which way and you can often share with other hotel guests which make it easier and cheaper. We used the free shuttle bus a few times too which was so handy and runs into town at 10:30am and 4:15pm then back at 4pm and 7pm ish. The walk into town itself is really not far either about 20 mins however all down hill so walking back up in the heat was a no for us. The wonderful housekeeping ladies are a real testament to this hotel, the room was spotless every day and we saw them mopping everyone’s balcony even when relaxing at the pool, you could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel one bit! Room was very comfortable, great aircon, seriously comfortable pillows and bed and good shower, balcony with fab view, I could go on. The views from the hotel are wonderful especially from the restaurant area, watching the sunset behind the skiathos hills and the planes landing so close was fab. There is also a private beach which is sandy and had a few sunbeds and umbrellas on it to use which we did one day and was well worth it! So peaceful! I recommend this to anyone who wants a quieter and less packed beach experience than some of the others in Skiathos. Just ask the lovely reception ladies for the directions it’s a 5 minute walk but there is a step climb down some steps so may not be great for all. Overall we adored our stay at the Punta and we can’t wait to return!
