Radisson Resort Skiathos

Expensive hotel, poorly managed, hardly any staff, no air con. It looks great on the photos; modern, simple design but nothing works properly. Beds hard, plumbing noises throughout the night, next to a beach that would have been beautiful at one point but now overrun by tourism. Don’t recommend at all. Won’t be coming back.

Arrived and got keys to which we walked in a room still occupied? Then given another room which was not what we booked and at first they said it was ? Eventually told us they have doubled booked and it was wrong room but fully booked . Said this room €40 cheaper so we could get this back in food ? Very disappointed

We had a lovely family holiday staying at this hotel. We booked two rooms, one for my wife & I + a room for my teenage daughters. The hotel is very clean & modern, but very relaxed as quite a small hotel. The best thing about this hotel was it's brilliant staff & manager, who did everything possible to make our stay as relaxing as possible. We asked for a Seaview & the next day, we were moved to a beautiful room at the front of the hotel with a view overlooking Kanapitsa bay - it was gorgeous. We also forget one of our bags, when we went to the airport! But the hotel teamsaud no problem & sent is to us via a taxi - which was brilliant service, we were very grateful. The location is also lovely with a 2 minute walk to the local taverna kanapitsa right on the beach - we had dinner here several times, right by the waters edge, looking out on the Aegean sea, absolutely loved it!

Modern, clean and tidy hotel. We were happy with everything i.e. room, balcony, view, breakfast, location to beach / taverna and taxi boat into town was great. Only reason I haven’t given 5 out of 5 is for two reasons. Firstly, the area around the pool is a little unkept. There are weeds growing freely around the patio area and we were sorely tempted to start ripping out ourselves. Not very pleasing on the eye and something that could be easily fixed. Pool itself was lovely and plenty big enough for an early morning swim. Secondly, a logistical point that people should be aware of but no fault of the hotels. We stayed B&B and relied on local supermarket for essentials including fresh water. It’s only a 7-10 minute walk but it is very hilly and in the heat we struggled carrying water etc. I wouldn’t not return for this reason, maybe choose the time of day you go (early morning or late evening). Other than these 2 minor points we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the hotel and Kanapitsa. Hope to be back again one day

No faults with the pillows; they're very comfy, and the bed is great too, allowing for a great night's sleep room was small but ample. That's about it, the food was pretty good, but a weird way of having to reserve a table at reception when half board? Morning was the same traditional breakfast, which was lukewarm and not nice, so I stuck to the other side, which had a good variety of sweet things. which I do love. To be fair, I did expect it to be more than ample for a Radisson Hotel. I found the staff were all in black jeans and polo shirts, black too and trainers. Maybe you should get uniforms so we know who's who. The pool area is ok, apart from one side where the rooms are run down, not seen a gardener in there bit of an eyesore sight which has gravel stones, not nice to walk on. My stay was just ok, will I go back? NO. They need staff who look like staff. badly organised.

This is our experience I wanted to give a fully honest review, it’s not negative, we had no need to complain about anything this is just our findings. Would we stay again… yes absolutely. Location: approximately 15-20 mins walk from the bus stop. Trying to catch the bus into town is sometimes difficult as the buses are full, there is a water taxi from the beach across the road but check times and the sea/weather conditions, again this does fill up in busy season. The road to the main road is hilly and no path. Opposite a beautiful beach with a fantastic restaurant, highly recommended the seafood salad. Tax is €10 a night on top of what you have already paid. Finally the staff are great and very helpful, they can book local restaurants for you etc. One thing we noticed a lot of the staff are deaf so we learnt to say thank you with sign language. They were very grateful. Good points View: the view is beautiful but be sure to ask for sea view, it’s extra so don’t expect one if you don’t book. We had multiple guests complaining when we were booking in as they didn’t like their room. Pool view room: is literally next to the pool which can be a good and bad thing. Air-con: best air-con ever, it’s quiet, no damp smell and room was constantly 20 degrees without any fiddling with controls. Housekeeping: is very good Shower: best ever in Greece Bed: large and very comfortable. Pillows: perfect. Shower room: large, with hand held and rainforest shower heads. Perfect temperature. Fridge: goes off when no card in slot, has bottles of water. Tea & Coffee: in your room. Hairdryer: yes. Safe: yes. Toiletries: yes lots. Pool: good size, beds in pool, music. Breakfast: great choice. Staff: very helpful. Not so good points: Pool view room: is literally next to the pool which can be a good and bad thing. If you have room 007, 008, 009 be prepared to literally carry your case. They have the crazy pavement thing going on (see pictures) and you can’t wheel your case. Iron: no Weeds: garden could and should be beautiful but they were poorly cared for and had weeds everywhere (see pictures) I fact it made our view look like something from a post apocalyptic film set!!! Door alarm: make sure you always shut your door properly, or the alarm will go off constantly. Bar: not a full bar just a counter with a few bottles. Breakfast: very busy. Toaster is broken so only 2 toast at a time. Clothes rail: we didn’t have one for swimming wear etc. Ice machine: no Pool: lots of weeds and closes at 7pm. So like I said it’s an honest review and we will stay again.
