Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa

We have stayed at Kassandra Bay a number of times and it never disappoints. This year it was obvious that significant investment had taken place and it was excellent, but the biggest asset are the staff, from cleaners, to hosts, bar and restaurant staff and managers, every signal one of them go above and beyond. We will be back.

Excellent staff and service, good, clean 5 star hotel. Good, alternative food Greek and non Greek. Couple of improvements though. 1)The umbrellas used at the beach are old fashioned, they don't block the sun. 2) Thre are no shower facility at the beach, one has to walk to the pool. 3) The hotel does not free bottle of water everyday, only once, regardless of the duration of the stay, a saving .80 Euro bottle per room? 4) More amenities at the bathroom, sch as body lotion, hair conditioner etc. Other then these minor points, I definetely recommend this hotel

As a notoriously pessimistic and hard to please customer ( I call it having high standards) I was anxious about getting our first holiday to Greece right. The hotel makes or breaks the whole experience. I’ll tell it how it is - this place is spot on! We wanted to be close to the town for restaurants / drinks / atmosphere but not directly in it where it’s loud and busy. After all we want to relax and unwind. This location was perfect being only 10 mins from the town. A bus stop directly outside the hotel at 2€, boat taxi from their private beach at 4€ or taxi at 10€ all of which we used at different times to suit our schedule or trip. The hotel itself just ticks every box. It’s not too big where you feel insignificant and it has no character and it’s not too small where it can feel overcrowded and hectic. Having a private beach meant no paying 20-30 euros for sunbeds every time you fancy going to the beach. It also meant the pools weren’t overcrowded as many guests preferred beach sunbathing. There’s also a 45 minute rule on leaving towels on sunbeds to ensure fair use for guests. The views from almost every location on the resort had spectacular sea views looking over the bay and the smaller surrounding islands - arguably the best sea views we’ve ever seen. The staff at the resort I think are the key to the success of this place - there’s loads of them and their priority is to make your stay as seamless as possible and this enthusiasm and professionalism doesn’t drop at any point. Reception, poolside, beach front, restaurant staff all very impressive. Special mention to Angelos in the suites reception - very helpful polite and knowledgable. The rooms were all very clean and had been renovated, all offered stunning sea views that you begin to take for granted. Powerful showers, good air con, plenty of wardrobe space. Room service, maid service all on point. My partner had a bottle of bubbly waiting for her on her 30th birthday which was very kind. The ambience and setting was so fitting i popped the big question to my girlfriend who thankfully said yes! I would like to thank the management of Mary and George who went above and beyond to arrange a memorable evening for us and to Nikos who was very attentive.. A night we will never forget. If you’re looking for a combination of a relaxing chilled hotel setting but close to some nightlife and atmosphere for dinner and shopping then this is the best option by quite some way. I did a lot of research and all the hotels are either too far out from the town it becomes a drag, difficult transport links or they’re in the town and smaller - busier, no beach, overcrowded etc. If you’re lucky enough to have a suite and use the infinity pool it’s one of the best settings and views you’ll ever see. Really chilled out hotel. No fighting for sunbeds and they are so comfortable it’s unbelievable. You can catch a Great water taxi to town for 4 euro each which is really nice or bus stop outside. Great food in the restaurants with really friendly staff. Would go back.

My 16 yr old daughter and I haven’t been away together for years and so this trip was really important to us. Kassandra Bay did not disappoint in any way. Hotel and staff were fantastic. We stayed in room 406 with a superb view of the sea and the world’s biggest balcony! Our room was cleaned everyday which was much appreciated. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The beach was at the bottom of the garden and had its own sunbeds with buzzers so you could order anything from the beach bar without getting up! The food in the restaurants is lovely with much choice and the breakfast is very varied and cooked very well. Getting into town was simple, either the hotel would ring for a taxi, only cost 12 euro or you could jump on the very regular boat taxi which left from the beach ( at the bottom of the garden), 4 euro per person, I highly recommend this, we did it lots. I would not hesitate to recommend Kassandra Bay to anyone, you won’t be disappointed x

Stayed here for a week in early July. The resort is as modern and comfortable as the pictures make it out to be. Rooms were spotless and had all facilities you could wish for. The beach and pool were well-kept and did not feel cramped when we were there. Not sure if the resort was fully booked, but we were pleasantly surprised by the calm atmosphere and lack of crowds throughout our stay. The staff was super friendly, fluent in English and attentive to all our needs. Getting to Skiathos town and back was easy thanks to the bus, as well as the boat taxi stop right on the beach. Remember to shop some groceries for the in-room fridge when you are in town though, as the nearest supermarket is a bit of a walk away from the hotel. Or rent a vehicle to explore the island, the staff at the reception will facilitate that for you.
