KB Ammos

I was finally excited to visit this hotel last week after seeing all the images on tui website Myself & my husband booked flights separately & booked direct with the hotel I decided on a plunge pool room .Taxi 15 euros to the hotel I was kindly greeted by receptionist who was really friendly she showed us to our room & I was really disappointed with the size of our plunge pool compared to our joining neighbours. Two chairs & a table on the smallest terrace within the hotel. Was really miffed to say the least as others had Huge seating areas including deckchairs as dinning chairs & table plunge pool much bigger made ours look like a goldfish bowl. Room however exceptionally clean & well decorated. We received a bottle of wine for my 60th birthday earlier in the year which they made it pretty clear it wasn't recently but kind gesture . The walk into town is 10mins such a vibrant place to see which we ate a few times lots of restaurants bars etc food incredible. Back to the hotel pool very small only 16 sunbeds very cramped and also on show no privacy areas either which I like my privacy & space. The plunge pool rooms & hot tub rooms are all open for everyone to see again no privacy whilst you're trying to relax on show with other holiday people passing through to get to there rooms. In my opinion really badly designed!!! The breakfast was adverage had much better in other hotels.!!! No atmosphere around the bar no tables & chairs to eat lunch again badly designed as other guests also agreed. I found the hotel far too small and how can I put it let down by lack of atmosphere. Dont get me wrong I suppose some people like there own company but definitely not for us. On leaving I was astonished to be told there's no courtesy room to shower etc. We actually had to use the pool toilets & 1 shower which was open for all to see I was actually having a shower & my hubby had to put a towel to screen myself from others sunbathing!!! this suppose to be a 4 star plus hotel it lacks emeniities and when I asked for a hairdryer the receptionist said I had to use the outside plug by the bar for everyone to see !!!! A kind lady let me use her room for me to dry it properly infront of a mirror. I feel that this hotel lacks the little things that should be included even in a basic star rating hotel . Theres shower wash shampoo but no conditioner common sense is we all need hair conditioner especially after being exposed to the hot sun luckily I bought my own this is a adult hotel I feel it needs more facilities etc. Had a enjoyable 5 day stay in Skiathos will definitely return to the island but sadly not to this hotel I feel theres far better 4 star accommodation on the island which makes you feel your actually on holiday.

Fantastic from the moment we arrived. “We’re here to make sure you relax and enjoy your holiday” and that’s what they did. Hotel staff were amazing from reception to bar and restaurant staff. Everyone was accommodating. The welcome we recieved was exceptional and we felt like royalty. The rooms were superb adequate and cold with a fully functioning a/c system. The plunge pool was great to cool off after a long day sightseeing. Stelios on the bar was brilliant with guests. Never too pushy but always attentive. Fantastic at his job. Christina on reception was excellent in dealing with our quietus’s, the all were couldn’t fault any of them. The whole hotel is clean and relaxing, breakfast was lovely and the surroundings tranquil. It’s only a small hotel with 14 rooms and is evident that everyone gets to know each other and the staff too. The location is perfect just a 10/15 min walk to the top of the Main Street where there are bars shops and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate in returning to this hotel and would reccomend it to everyone. Skiathos stole our hearts and is just amazing.

Not recommended if you are looking to relax. Set on the main road. Cold showers some nights. Boring breakfast in a soulless room. Rooms either next to road or without privacy. Reception a dark dingy office. Pool area very small with few beds. Don’t pay for swim up pool not enjoyable. Overall overpriced hotel without soul rude management!

There was nothing that was less than perfect. Nothing too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff. Breakfast fantastic, room and hot tub on the patio 100% clean, how do you expand on perfect! So very glad we chose this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others and stay again ourselves.

Stunning hotel! This is a fabulous hotel. We were welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival which was a lovely gesture. The whole hotel was spotless. Room was a very high standard with an outdoor hot tub, which we enjoyed one afternoon. Stelios chilled a bottle of prosecco from the bar and served it to us in the hot tub. Stellios was fantastic, constatly taking food and drink orders from the sunbeds. No sun bed wars, sometimes had the pool to ourselves. Great choice of freshly cooked hot and cold food at breakfast. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had the most amazing time at kbammos, we had one of the rooms on the first floor and it was exceptional, very spacious and a huge balcony looking towards the sea. The wonderful ladies who cleaned our room did the most amazing job but this is reflected by all the staff, so caring and considerate you feel like you are leaving friends behind when you go home. The hotel is beautiful, the location perfect, skiathos is a gem but the staff at kbammos are the real stars here. Thankyou to everyone for making our holiday so special.
