Awesome resort with impeccable service. Beautiful serene atmosphere. The place to go for relaxation and great food. We stayed in one of their suites, it was gorgeous!! There were two fireplaces in the suite and a sliding glass door that went out to a beautiful private balcony with an amazing view.

Everything I hoped for and more. I am someone who rarely is able to take a vacation. So, I had high expectations and hopes for this trip. I have zero regrets and was more than impressed with the staff, accommodations, food, prices you name it! If I could give Mirbeau Skaneateles a 6th star I would. I cannot wait to go back!

Overall a lovely stay that met our expectations. Positives are overall overall atmosphere, aesthetics, service, restaurant, spa services, Quiet Room and outdoor hot tub. Negatives are the cottage rooms are awkwardly laid out and VERY DARK. Lighting is poor in every area of the space. Would benefit by improving seating area and a table for room service. While on that topic, we had room service for breakfast. It was delivered in a timely fashion but was not up to the standards we experienced in the restaurant (example, poached eggs on Mirbeau version of Benedict were nearly hard boiled, surprised that would have even left the kitchen). Having said all of that we will return and simply try rooms in the Inn and avoid room service.

The website is very confusing given that there are multiple locations. Each location has a different special. When trying to book a gift for a friend, the locations are not accommodating to honor the other locations specials. I had already told my friends about the gift I was giving not realizing it was only on one locations website. Extremely frustrating that the other location (Skaneateles Location) that I wanted my friends to go to wouldn't accept the special of the Rhinebeck location.

The hotel was clean and the courtyard was beautiful as usual. However it seems some corners have been cut. Example: no stocked mini fridge, no aroma fragrance, no laundry bag. We just got tired of comparing to previous stays. I would say the service was still very good but with premium prices you expect premium in every aspect. We have stayed 8-10 times over the past 9 years or so. Overall we decided to try a new/different B&B and spa in the future.

The hotel is beautiful, located in a romantic setting. The rooms are clean and cozy. The spa has everything you could wish for. Only negatives are that everything is a little old. While that may be the style of the hotel, some parts need renovation.

The staff and service are top notch. I've been to many great spas but Mirbeau is still on of the best. The grounds are spectacular, the food exceptional, and their people are incredible. Not to mention the one of a kind hot tub that is unmatched.

This place is great for beating the winter blues or blues at any time of the year. If you want a spa getaway this is the place to go. My favorite part is the year-round outdoor hot tub. Pair it with a wet or dry sauna in each locker room. Fall asleep in the relaxation room after you get a face or body treatment from Katie. Have breakfast/lunch in your spa robe in this French country retreat. Relaxation and getting away from it all is what this place is all about. It is a whole different world. On top of it all, it is like you have been transported to the French countryside.

While the room was very nice we were unable to take a shower each day because the hot water turned ice cold after about 3 minutes. Every day we complained but nothing was done to fix the problem. It happened every day. I asked that the GM be notified and the front desk person said he was. Yet he never reached out to us to show concern for our problem. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. This certainly put a damper on our weekend. We spent over $1300 for 2 days yet couldn’t get a hot shower?? If you are staying there please avoid room 411.
