Charming old world charm. This is definitely a step back in time. Without being nostalgic. Just in keeping with the age of the hotel. The king comes here. Nice choice on the breakfast buffet. Just remember to take the coffee thermos to your table otherwise you'll stand out as an obvious tourist. We stayed in the Admiralgården nearby as we wanted our own bathroom. Communal baths in the main house due to planning laws. We hired bikes at the hotel to drive to Blink and the east coast mini lagoons for early morning dip in Kattegat. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. And if we ever go to Skagen again we will probably stay here again. Many thanks to all the staff

We enjoyed staying in this historic hotel which is quite different from most others I have stayed at in Denmark. The room was fairly basic but quite clean. There was only a sink in the room as the bathrooms were down the hall; they were clean too, and it wasn't a problem especially as we were just staying one night. The breakfast was excellent, and the indoor and outdoor seating areas were both very pleasant. We didn't go to the main restaurant at the front of the hotel; it is very expensive. Free parking was easy to get right in front of the hotel in the street. Service was friendly and professional. I would stay here again.
