A very good accommodation experience, and I caught the Aurora, which was the luckiest thing

We stayed one night last September in this very pretty wooden house, not extremely spacious, but functional, with warm interiors and a nice outdoor veranda. it is located a short distance from the Ringroad, but sufficiently isolated to enjoy peace and tranquility, and above all admire the Aurora (here we saw the most beautiful and strongest Aurora of our Icelandic tour), even if the external lights of the houses lit were disturbing a bit of the scene. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen equipment quite poor and old. We adapt, but we are at the limit of sufficiency. Not a huge space, but even here it's very good for 2 people, but for 3 it starts to feel cramped. It's the only place where we read that if the hot water ran out it could take up to two hours to refill the boiler... And I thought that in Iceland natural hot water was the only thing " unlimited"... For us it lasted enough for 2 showers, but we were a bit anxious... In light of all this the price is very high, the highest we have paid in Iceland for such solutions (we changed 11 accommodations) and not justified by quality or particular amenities.

Vicina alla strada ma in posizione comoda e tranquilla si compone di alcuni bungalow. Il nostro era un monolocale. L’unica pecca è la mancanza di appendiabiti (ce n’è uno per lato della porta di ingresso ma non sono sufficienti). Posto pulito. Lo consiglio.

Strutture di recente costruzione accanto ad una azienda agricola, come spesso si trovano in Islanda. Si compongono di 4/5 "casette" singole o tipo bifamiliari. La mia era per due persone, con una stanza unica per letti, cucine e salottino, tutto di dimensioni accettabili. Tutto pulito e la cucina era attrezzata. Per chi ha già pagato gli verrà inviato il codice per aprire, tutto in autonomia. Belli anche il tavolo e le sedie esterne per fare colazione o prendere un caffè. Forse il prezzo era sopra la media.
